Knollwood - Old Course lots of FUN!!
A nicely kept course, albeit a short course. Staff are amazing people. Very nice views to behold. I would recommend this course to anyone.
Scenic little course with beautiful old hardwoos
This is my third time playing the old course. Really enjoy the layout and the forgiving fairways.
Greens were a little rough due to top dressing.
Overall, will be back to play again.
Staff were exceptional.
Used to be a great course
Used to place this course all the time. It had great value, was always in reasonable shape, and the pace of play was always at least average.
I've played here twice this year and both times have been disappointed. The course is in awful shape. Nearly half the greens are dead and every tee box is rock-hard. The tee box markers have been removed due to Covid, which makes no sense. Nobody touches them except staff. Several times I had to move my ball while in the middle of the fairway due to dead grass.
Tee times were packed solid for our Monday afternoon round, and no beverage cart service despite probably 50-75 golfers on the course.
Greenskeeper should be fired. Greens are just in awful, awful shape. Maybe had one or two true rolls all day.
Pace of play was brutal. Starter kept letting twosomes go off instead of pairing them up. Three groups playing each hole the whole round.
I understand golf courses are facing huge challenges due to Covid, but this was alarming. Please get the course back into shape next year and we'll return.
