Soggy boot and hoot
Good course layout , but was very wet ,to the point you could not take a cart off the path as it would just spin. We were told at the start it was very wet and to stay on the path only walking on the fairways allowed. It added a lot of difficulty to the shots. We enjoyed the day and had a laugh at our shooting , every drive the ball sunk into the turf so you really had to pay attention to its landing and yes we lost maybe half a dozen by the end.
Would recommend a later spring date as the course doesn't drain as well as you might think, we had rain Thursday - Friday morning and our tee time was 3:40 on Saturday .
Course layout is great cart paths need attention!!!!!
Great Value Fall Golf
Course was in great shape for the fall. Greens were not punched yet and well maintained. Practically had the whole course to ourselves as it was not busy that day . Nice course to play during prime months but the hot deal for this round was a wonderful bonus ! I recommend this course
Very good
I like whispŕing and lake ridve boh course.
Kind and friendly sttaffs and well manavement of course.
Wish it stays open until the end of November
The course was in amazing shape: greens were in great shape and still kinda fast; no leaves on the. ground to worry about except for the back part of the 15th green; the course was full but the pace was good - didn’t see any walkers; and, marshals were really nice.
Just a couple of things to note, no carts making the rounds and the driving range has been closed for the season.
We will be back this weekend weather permitting.
Another Great Day
Another great fall day for golf. As usual the Pro Shop was very nice and got us going with no problems. The starter let us out a little early as there was a group of four coming and we were two.
We wound up catching the groups ahead pretty quick but one let us play through. There was no beverage cart out yesterday which was disappointing.
Course conditions were very good. Pace of play was 4 hours and 18 minutes.
Great deal with GolfNow. Will be back before the snow comes.
First Rate
Another beautiful sunny fall day to play golf. I came as a last minute single and was teamed up with three regulars. Great guys, and had a great time. Played in 4 hours and 18 minutes. It didn't feel that long, as play kept moving along. Maybe three times we waited at the tee area. I'm always amazed at how many times we see the beverage cart on public courses. This time it was four. At ClubLink (former member for 12 years) we were lucky if we saw the cart once or twice. The service and friendliness of all these public courses in the area are fabulous.
Well maintained course
This course is very well maintained, the rough is cut short so make it easier for many players and can locate your ball quicker. The fairways and greens are very good as usual, except for a few greens where falling leaves and budding are too much to clean up for putting. Not too many falling leaves, may be blown clean by maintenance staff, and made finding balls easier. Overall speaking, this is a very good course and if you can get a good rate from Golfnow, it makes it even more entertaining. Enjoy the course before the cold winter.
Quick Round
3 hours 22 minutes. Beautiful day and a fast round. Saw the cart girl four times. This is what it is all about.
Quick Play
Lakeridge is always friendly and accommodating. The Pro Shop quickly processes you and lets you know what the day will be like. The restaurant coffee needs work. It is very weak. Hot but weak. There was no starter this day so we just went.
We played the course in 3 hours and 22 minutes. Saw the cart girl four times, the Marshall three times.
What a great pace of play. Love coming here during the week.
Fun Round
Golf Now is a great app for looking up deals for last minute golf for a single player. I've used GN now for numerous rounds and it has saved me time and money.
Lakeridge staff are terrific. Very friendly pro shop staff.
Beverage Cart comes by quite a few times during the round. I've noticed that Cart is around more often then when I was a private member at ClubLink.
The course is in decent shape. The tee off areas should have seeding available. They are getting roughed up.
If you are a golfer that cares, you will notice that a lot of the greens need fixing. Very few other golfers fix their ball marks. On one hole I've fixed up to 17 ball marks. (not this round)
I like this course and will definitely come again.
