Fun run
Rough is a little long, fairways somewhat messy and damp in early May. Greens haven't yet grown in.
10 handicappers will enjoy it, beginners might be a little frustrated.
Staff are nice and friendly which makes anything enjoyable. I'm a regular!
Extremely slow pace of play
Paid for 18 holes, only played 9, due to the slow pace of the game, it was frustrating.
I’ve had some decent experiences here but for the most part the staff are rude and ineffective. A couple of the starters are really great though, especially Nick! I return each time because it’s close to my house but I find myself regretting it regularly. They pretend to be an elite golf club and charge far too much for both the old and the new course. It’s a decent place to work on your game but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re playing with their twilight rates.
Not worth the $$
It’s time Club Link actually spend some money maintaining this course… it maybe November but the course is in terrible shape and has been for months
I will Never play here again
Customer Service Non-Existant
Very nice course. Unfortunately, both our carts broke down and no one could be reached to get help despite calling numerous times at various extensions. I'm recovering from knee surgery and getting around was quite challenging. They sent me an email to apologize but offered nothing in terms of compensation. I didn't expect anything but I do find it strange they didn't even offer to cover the cost of the power carts. Hard to recommend this place based on purely the lack of customer service.
There is a lot of waiting in every hall. Marshall or the manager hope to clear this waiting. The longer the waiting time, the more nervous each team gets, and the exercise gets in the way. Please schedule your waiting time. Please make sure there are no problems until the last guests arrive.
Great round of golf
Excellent November round of golf. Course was in good condition.
Stay Out of The Bunkers
I haven't played the New course for many years as I discovered I like the Old course more. But at $65 tax and fee in with a cart, I couldn't pass it up. The course is in good shape and the greens were even better, playing fast. But the traps appear not to have been groomed in a while. They are quite firm. This is why I give it just a good rating. I guess the best way to deal with them is to stay out of them in the first place. The course started the day with about an hour frost delay, but by my tee time at 1 pm, they were behind only 20 minutes. After that the pace wasn't too bad.
PS. I forgot to add that there were plenty of stones in a number of the bunkers. I lifted my ball, raked the stones away, then replaced my ball. I also agree with other reviewers that at the regular price point, Clublink should be putting forth more funds for upkeep and maintenance.
Needs some investment
I've been golfing here for years on and off each season and like them a lot however, these two courses have significantly gone down hill in recent couple of years. The course conditions are still average I guess, but for a Clublink course, I shouldn't have to look through the carts to find one that works and has a windshield of club cover on the back. Equipment is old.
Hadn't played the course in years so it was nice to get out there again, especially for the price we paid. I was disappointed with the condition of the fairways and tee blocks, even considering the time of year.
good course
this course is good, especially new course. A lot of people are used to walking. I recommend it to my friends.
Golf tee time is every 10 minutes, but there is a delay for each hole, so Marshall feels the need to go and arrange delays from time to time. Other conditions are very good.
