There is Potential
A beginner's course for sure with a good mix of long and short holes. Not impressed that I had to pay for a cart at the course for my round even though the course information on GolfNow reads that all prices include green fees and a cart for your round. Not worth the money ($37 a person) for 12 holes. Spend an extra couple dollars and go golf 18 elsewhere.
Budget/ Beginner course
If you're looking for a beginner course or budget friendly, this course isn't bad. It's not very long. It wasn't super busy but we happened to be stuck behind some very elderly men so we had to wait at every hole quite a long time but did not have pressure from behind. It's a good walking course (12 holes) and somewhat flat. It was early on in the season so I can't fault it too much but we did see some aeration holes and some course renovations that haven't been cleaned up. Geese and geese poop was s problem on a few hole. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for and this was super cheap and worthy of a nice day put for some golf and walking exercise.
Fun
Course is in much better shady this year than last two. Rather expensive to play with a cart
And no good deals with a cart.I . Can play 18 holes for less some days so consequently haven’t come as often this yesr
Back
Haven’t been there since last year when I was a frequent golfer
The price on GN was not as good as previous years so consequently I have not gone as last past years
Deals have not been as good
BUT greens are in much better shape
I’ll return
Perhaps not as often unless prices lower
I have gone to courses for 18 holes for not much more
Good 12 hole course
I think they have done a good job with this course. I prefer this 12 hole course over Crumlin Creek in London. Greens are nice and the layout is simple yet done well. Only downfall Is all the goose droppings around the holes near the water. If your using a cart then no worries. I reccomend this course for a nicencouple hours of golf.
Cost
It was definitely not worth 37 dollars for 12 holes. I felt like we were not told the correct price and the person working the pro shop said it was golf now that does the write up. I read all the s,all print and did not see anywhere indicating that the price was walking or that the cart was not included. I think it is up to the course to tell golf now how to write it up. I golf North America and have never been deceived on the price.
First time scheduling through Golf Now and worked out fantastically. The course had everything noted when we arrived and had no difficulty at all.
Pretty good
Staff was excellent. Lots of long grass to lose golfballs in. Thought a lot of that could be cut. Would make it much faster to play and more fun.
Would Not Play Again
Course was in terrible shape, grass not cut, greens no groomed. Dirt piles everywhere on greens. Some holes were closed. Terrible layout for a course, a very bad bad experience.
Decent value
Decent value for money. Got through first 6 holes in 1.5 hrs than a 40 min wait for the turn and 20 min wait between holes. We ended up leaving as rate of play was pretty much nonexistent and for no apparent reason. A little overbooked or tee times booked too close together perhaps.
Still a decent experience. Just maybe not the greatest on busy days.
There’s two golf courses in Dorchester?
Course was in ok shape other than geese droppings everywhere. I’ve never been here before and confused my booking with the other golf course located in Dorchester. I was disappointed it was only 12 holes and the holes were too close to one another. I was also disappointed I couldn’t purchase a golf glove.
