Grandview Golf Club - Mark O'Meara Course
About
The Mark O'Meara course at Grandview Golf Club opened in 2001, signifying the golf course design debut of the PGA Tour star. The 1998 Masters and British Open Champion wanted the first O'Meara design to be on a beautiful piece of property, and he has made outstanding use of the natural setting. The course sprawls across spectacularly beautiful, rugged terrain with stands of trees, elevation changes and bold granite outcroppings. The wilderness flavour of the course contrasts with the wide fairways, shallow bunkers and gently slopping greens that make this new course both challenging and highly playable.

An Unbelievable Golf Course
Each year during golf season we make the trip during a weekday to play one of the three (3) ClubLink Muskoka golf courses (Grandview, The Lake Joseph Club, and Rocky Crest).
Out of these courses, Grandview is our favorite for many reasons. First, the course is a unique course with every .hole on the course being different. Second, the course is kept in immaculate shape (Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, and greens). What a great course!!. The other most important part of golfing at this course is the people who make you feel that you are there to have a great golf experience. Hat off to the DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS - Raffaele Occhiuzzi, HEAD GOLF PROFESSIONAL - Todd Stephens, and of course the STARTER - Ambrose. Thank you guys and the rest of the staff for making our day of golf very enjoyable.
Beautiful Day on a Beautiful Course
Played Grandview for the first time, with three buddies, all Grandview rookies.
From the first tee, with its daunting carry to the fairway, we all knew we were on for a treat.
The course is very playable, with wide landing areas and only moderate hazards. We played during the Covid pandemic so bunkers were out of play.
Several holes featured rock outcroppings which is typical of courses in the area, and were very picturesque.
Even with a handful of blind shots, we never felt as if we would have played the hole differently ‘had we known’, which added to the enjoyment of our first round here.
The greens were receptive but also deceptive, and it took us the front nine to really get a feel for the pace of them.
Pace of play for a Monday afternoon was great. We got around in a little over 4 hours and never saw anyone in front of us.
We didn’t get to fully experience the amenities, again due to Covid, as only the halfway house was open and it closed prior to the conclusion of our round.
Overall, all four players had a great time and really enjoyed the course. We can’t wait to get back and play it again sometime soon.
Fall Golfing - Got to Love it
I have played here many times, but the first time for my wife. She totally enjoyed her day. She played the forward tee blocks which minimized the hazards, but the views were spectacular for her. The fairways are wide and in excellent condition. Traps are great and the greens were exceptional. I on the other hand played the blue tees and also totally enjoyed the challenge from those tee blocks. Can’t say enough about the staff at Grandview. They are second to none with their hospitality. Great weather, great course, equals a great day.
