Cute. Layout
Short 9 holer. Good variety in the layout. Take your full bag as you can use them all.Greens a little firm, tough to hold them from beyond 60 yards out . Lots of slope on greens and lightning fast so down hillers kill lots of par attempts.
Short but Challenging
At 2200 yards, this one offers an excellent workout if you need a conditioning round. Eight of the nine holes provide an option to use all your clubs. Greens medium sized and have lots of action in them. No water on Course at all. No sand traps. If speed of play is honest , you are finished in less than two hours easily.
Worth giving it a try.
Dear Hickory
What’s not to like.
Get to spend hours with my 16 year old great nephew on a beautiful course. Pace was a little slow but to be expected on a Saturday. I had a great afternoon.
There’s a typo
Although it says walking rate several times it also says price includes round and cart. When Asked about the cart and showed them where it says cart the club house staff were very rude and aggressive.
Good Golf Course
We recently moved to London and are enjoying playing this course. It is in good shape and we find it challenging. We like to play 9 holes. Totally recommend it.
Monday golfing
Nice course, not to busy on Monday morning for the long weekend.
Blast from past.
I use to be a member back in 1980. First time back in nearly 35 years. Down to earth staff and a fun round for this kid now 41. I remember the summers growing up being out there everyday. Wish I could still get a score like a kid. Love this place. For more advance golfers try out the Classic.
Good starter/learner format
I took my sons and nephew out for 9. Good course for the beginning juniors and value for round.
well kept course, very pretty.
Had a very frustrating first five holes. Two sets of juniors ahead of us. They could really drive the ball but just sauntered up the fairway. Waited at least ten minutes for each of the first five holes that we played. Would try the course again in September when kids are back in school or later in the day. Tee off was at 1145.
Nice course. Dishonest pro shop staff.
Nice course and good conditions. Lots of tee times available.
Pro shop staff weren't the most honest or helpful. Was quoted a golf bag price by an employee who said he was selling it to me "at cost price", only to come back the next day and be quoted a much lower price by another employee who also told me he was selling it to me "at cost price."
Short and easy
Thames valley is a nice old course with lots of mature trees but not much else to get into trouble with. Everything was well kept and in good condition. Rain was forecast on the day we played and we were all alone so we got our nine in less than 2 hours. The next tee is close to the green and its fairly flat making it a nice course to walk.
