Scenic to no end! Beautiful!!
I liked everything about this course! Choosing ladies night membership! The patio outside is just so cozy with all it’s furniture!!
A pleasant outing
The course is well maintained with a good variety of short and long holes. The very fast greens make this course challenging. Overall it’s not that long but many of the fairways are narrow so attention to course management is recommended. Definitely a course that needs to be played several times to be able to place the shot in the optimum position..
Pace slow at first but picked up after the 1st nine
starter
The starter refused to enforce that two-somes play together, therefore pace was slow. And the players in front of us, refused to let us play through even though they were holding us up and the hole in front of them were wide open. Really poor golf etiquette all way round. It was especially frustrating given how hot it was and everyone just wanted to have the pace speed up.
Nice course
Played the round in 3 hr and 20 min. Challenging course yet fair. Would defiantly play it again.
I’ve never seen the course in this bad of shape , been golfing it for 10 years
Not a level spot on the course.
I have played this course previously a number of times. It is hard to find a piece of level ground on the course. The Fly's (Nats) are always really bad in the morning. The reason for the pace of play there was senior people in front with the Handicap flag but they are members but I do applaud them for getting out on the course. Members playing before use hit into us twice and it wasn't until we went back and told them we were delayed by the people in front did they finally back-off.
Slowest course around town
Where’s a Marshall when you need one lol. I can’t believe the single gentleman ahead of our twosome with alignment sticks out on every shot not even looking back to see if we could play through or the 3 extra balls from each shot if it didn’t hit the green.
Needs work
Good value if using corporate or discount tee times.
Course is nowhere near the conditions of even several years ago.
Greens still good ...but tricky
A Good Day
Course is in good shape and the pace of play good...finished 18 holes in 3 hours 40 minutes.
Staff prepared to help when required. Clubhouse food very good.
Unexciting "suburban-elitist" golf club
Have played Cedarhill hundreds of times over 50 years of living in the area. Unfortunately ,the estate residential growth around it has crowded out what used to be a picturesque and fun-to-play rural course and from our experience it appears to have become another "elitist", members-only-welcome environment . Staff are reasonably pleasant, but the membership we encountered does not appear to welcome even senior green-fee, recreational golfer clients like us .
Due to the weather, the course was extremely quiet and appeared to offer a good opportunity for my mobility-challenged partner to join me in a game. Unfortunately the very few " club members" who we encountered on the course and in the parking lot made us feel rather unwelcome. My wife and I were in fact specifically warned by the starter that participants in the club's "men's night" were habitually intolerant of slow play. After we teed-off, following directions of the starter, we were chased-down by two members who accused us of not "checking-in" with the pro shop. (we had our receipt and Golf Now confirmation)... Not a pleasant start. Our own pace of play was slow, but fortunately, due to the weather we encountered only one group that we promptly allowed to play-through without any delay. Our discomfort with the club environment meant that we did not attend clubhouse facilities after our game.
The course is nothing special and, with the notable exception of the lady marshal on the back nine, members that we encountered are not welcoming of visitors. Won't be playing here anytime soon and any consideration of future membership is over.
Enjoyable and Good Value
Good value for the money and an enjoyable place to play. Also, not too many fall leaves on the greens.
This course works for all levels of play.
Always a fun round.
Every hole is different and even with punched greens, this course is hugely enjoyable. Accuracy over distance is definitely key on most holes.
Friendly faces in the pro-shop and clubhouse after.
