About
Opened in June 2003, the 4-diamond Brookstreet Resort features two stunning courses. The Marshes Championship Golf Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones II and features a state-of-the-art GPS-equipped golf cart. With as many as four tee decks per hole, The Marshes' bent-grass fairways and greens will challenge and reward golfers of every caliber.

Beautiful
I stayed at near by hotel so I played two days. 1st day I was able to reach all par 5s in 3 shots, but 2nd day wind was around 15/20mph and it was in my face on every par 5s which made it barely reachable in 4. No wind and you will have good round, with wind I hope you have built in strong character to deal with failure:))))) All in all this is so beautiful golf course. Challenging but fair.
Take 2 weeks off
The greens were aerated 2 weeks ago and they need another 2 weeks. Great lay out, enjoyable round on a beautiful day.... Take the time to play Marshes, but wait until the end of the month....
Good Round
Enjoyed my round, the greens were aerated but this was posted on the site so it did not come as a surprise. It also said that breakfast was included. When my buddy and I went to the pro shop to check in we were advised that no, breakfast wasn't included. Didn't make it a great start to the day but the golf was good.
Marshes Ottawa
Played this course twice during Canadian Victoria Day May long weekend. First time on this course, was visiting family in the region. Excellent and challenging layout with a variety of holes from short to bomber long, left and rights, forced carries and choices on shot strategy.
Very good team of staff from cart jockeys to pro shop to the team on course.
Note to all readers and regular players of this course....please be courteous and repair divots on the greens, it only takes a few seconds and will keep this course in top notch shape for all.

Very enjoyable round
Interesting layout with two fairways on some holes,the six each-par 3,4,5 never experienced before,we played with a married couple that we just met and enjoyed their company

Poor Codition
For the expected cost to play the course one would expect above average course conditions. Unfortunately expectations were not met. The tee boxes were all "chewed up", the fairways were full of old divots and the greens were rough, long and still contained aeration holes. It appeared that the greens were aerated but were not "sanded' after aeration. For a nicely designed course it is unfortunate that the course condition was so poor. All-in-all , the only saving grace was the 'HOT DEAL' price and my ability to cash-in one of my bonuses. If I have to pay the "regular" price I will opt not to book a tee-off time.

I took a look at our maintenance schedule on the days leading up to your round and here is some info. Leading up to your day of play we had 8 of 10 days of rain, the course was cart path only for 2.5 weeks in a row and our mowers were unable to reach many areas. We are working on a better way to inform golfers of the current conditions without scaring them away. We’d like to set the correct expectations for course conditions and your feedback is helpful in us finding a way to do so. We apologize you caught us during a bad stretch and we all hope to see you back again sometime soon at The Marshes.”

Good day, very hot, could use some water on the course, but that would be my only complaint. Greens were quick and rolled true. Fairways well manicured. Well worth the value on Golf Now.

Both Beautiful and Challenging
Wife and I played with 2 marshals on their day off. They were friendly and excellent guides around this tough layout. Course condition was excellent: fairways, greens, and bunkers. Lots of water, wetlands, and trees. No two holes the same. This course will challenge any golfer, but you won't finish feeling beat up. Recommend if your in the area.

Championship golf course, links style
Expensive course unless a hot deal. But worth playing though. Well maintained championship greens and fairways. Will challenge any golfer. Large undulating greens and plenty of water hazards but fair.

great day at the Marshes
Everything was as expected. Course was in very good shape. Very challenging. The only issue we had was there was only 1 cart girl. With 35 degree C temperatures, not near enough on course service.
Overall a really good day.

Great course, pace of play is unacceptable
This course is really above average in all areas , greens and fairways are in excellent condition !
There were many marshals on the course to enforce the pace of play however there was no change. We were a group of 4 with carts, we played 18 holes in a record time of five hours and twenty five minutes, very disappointing, always looked forward to splurging at the Marshes a few times a year

Course was in great condition. It was very busy but still moved at a good pace. The day was amazing.

slow play
The fairways are good for early spring. Greens are slow and bumpy. Not good. Bunkers are in poor condition and some fairway bunkers have not been groomed for a long time. Some bunkers have too much sand and some have almost no sand. Many are not raked.
They allow walking on this course which is really not designed for it. Therefore the time of play is slower than it used to be.
Beer and food is overpriced. Service is OK.
Driving range is included in the price which is a positive.
Overall poor value for the price.
