Great Golfing
With the blue tees added at 6500 yds makes the course a great challenged for mid to low handicappers. The course is no terribly challenging it has its fair share of tough holes and shorter easier holes. The walkability is great not too many hills and long walks to next tee boxes makes it a fun course to walk.
The greens were amazing it rolled true fast and smooth, not too many undulating greens. Fairway and fescue very well maintained.
I love this course for a relaxing round from the white tees and a challenge from the blue with decent playing partners. As a single digit handicapper i get a good challenge from this course. This is my GEM in the rough golf course that i enjoy playing here.
Much improved golf course
The course was well maintained and fairways and greens were in very good condition. Sand bunkers n tee platforms also had no problems at all. The addition of blue tees extended the length to 6400 yards making it more challenging for advance players. Check in was quick with polite n friendly staff. The beverage cart was always around to quench your thirst. Pace pretty good n finished in around four hours. No complaints.
Good experience
Arrived a little late but from parking lot to the first tee box was less than 5 min. Very efficient staff and pace of play with all golfers were good. Cart girl came around and she was very friendly.
What Happened
Before the reno's, I was a mainstay here, value for buck could not be beat. Staff WAS friendly, Marshalls even friendlier..... but since, I'm not at all pleased with the reception from staff, nor am I impressed with the hike in price. Be searching elsewhere .... credit to the Marshall on the day, true gentleman.
Convenient course in great shape
I did a round on a Friday morning, and was paired up with three other people - a couple and a single. All three played fast so we actually kept pace with the two-some in front of us. The course is is great shape, without too many hazards to contend with.
5 Hours
I hadn't played here in years. Glad to see a number of improvements. The course was in good shape, especially since it is a public course. Has some challenging holes. But the pace of play is much too slow. 5 hours is much too long for this course. Wet grounds and cart path only might have been involved, but plenty of open holes on the back nine. A definite need for a marshal to monitor speed of play.
It’s a Public Course
Don’t expect much as this is a public course. Slow greens with lots of ball marks. Grass in rough is way too long and bunkers are hard. Layout is poorly designed.
