Great day on the course Good for new and average players
Excellent beginner course
I went with my parents and had a great time. It was our first time out which was a very enjoyable experience. The marshal was very friendly and pace of play was good. The course itself is fairly easy and straight forward to play. However finding the next hole prove to be difficult on occasions.
Great course and would definitely go back. Price of golf is expensive these days so not sure I would play this course at full price.
Most greens were littered with spring tree buds and needles.
The wet soggy soil finally dried up, However, the bunkers are in need for sand refills. They are hard clay now at the bottom of each and every bunker.
Classic review
The greens were terrible full of tree debris. Sand traps were hard as a rock not that I was in there very much lol. You get what you pay for less price Golf for less quality course.
Great course
Had a great time Rained the day before so was a little wet
Soggy wet grounds is all I can say. What a mess.
I am surprised they even allowed us to play. It was wet, muddy, soggy. I had asked for a cart, and they wouldn't allow it. Understandably so.
surprised also that they charged full price. I guess everyone was excited to play after having rained for 9 days straight with such terrible, terrible weather preceding the rain. # weeks of just awful weather. You could not really judge your play today because of the conditions. Sunny and nice, but grounds were not dried yet.
Good overall course for the money
Bunkers were full of water, but other than that course was very nice.
Rolling Hills Classic on a rainy day in November
It was very light rain at the first tee-off but as we moved along it got a bit wetter. We perseverred and finished all 18 holes. We got wet and a bit uncomfortable but in the end we had fun. No one near us either behind or in front. So there was a silver lining!
Waterlogged, soggy, wet, damp, cold
We played it anyway. Normally the course is just fine, but with the remnants of hurricane Nicole playing havoc with us, the conditions were not ideal to say the least. But with very little chances of getting in a game or two before the winter cold sets in, we decided to complete the 18 holes anyway. I felt like it was an expedition to mount Everest.
So glad to get home, take off the wet clothes and warm up. Will not do it next year in such weather conditions. Steady rain is NOT good. :(
