Sand Hills Golf Resort

Getting stuck behind a tournament of basically new golfers was not ideal especially in a 3 - 4 club wind. They were all over the course.
This was not the first slow round here and I guess based on location and price you have to expect them!

Great day. Course and greens are in great shape. Wind can be a factor.

Pay careful attention to the wind direction. Take advantage of the dog legs.

Not the most difficult course but it has its moments. The course is in great shape and the staff are exceptional. This is a really good place for beginners and moderate golfers. Do not pass on this one!

This course is quite forgiving on most holes even when you miss your fairway. The course was in excellent shape despite very heavy rains for two days prior to our play. The greens were excellent.

Course is short but challenging! We got rained out after 9 but manager gave us voucher for 9 holes some other time with no issues! Chicken wings best I've ever had! Staff courteous and friendly! Little bit hard to find entry , drove by both times we were there but well worth the turn around! Enjoy!

This course is not long but has some difficult holes and the greens make up for the lack of length. They are sloped on almost every hole and never to many straight putts.
Pace of play was super fast at about 3 hours.
Worth the drive with the deal we had.

We have enjoyed playing sand hills on many occassions, pace of play is generally quite acceptable

Course is short fairly easy but nice condition they were very busy and a course that we have played in less than 3 hours took over 5

Easy booking and check in. Course was good.
Would recommend.
Note clubhouse is closed Monday and TUesday, but sandwiches available in pro shop.

This was a decent course. Very wide open. It plays well if you have a slice. A few par fives that are quite long when played from the blue tee boxes. The one complaint I have is bring a cooler or book an IV after your round. You may be dehydrated due to lack of beverage cart. Also when you do see it, the selection is very limited..

GREAT COURSE FOR A QUICK ROUND.FAIRWAYS & GREENS VERY NICE. VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE MAINTENANCE STAFF. THIS COURSE IS LOCATED IN A BEACH RESORT AREA AND WOULD A GREAT PLACE TO GO TO GET AWAY FOR A FEW HRS.

We enjoyed the outing at Sand Hills but were disappointed that the clubhouse was closed and the dining facilities were locked on Mondays...it was busy enough to afford a staff for the dining room and bar area...and even the hotdog stand at the ninth hole was closed...I don't think that's the way to run a golf course especially in the middle of the summer in a resort area like Port Franks . The course was fun to play and in good shape ...and I liked the fact that you need a strategy to use more irons on the par 4's...not just drivers...a good day was had by all.

My wife and I played together. I course was in great shape. Staff was friendly. The pace of play was fantastic. We'll be back.

This course is a little far from our house but it is wort it! We love everything about this course!

I love playing Sandhills. The course is always in good shape, great layout, pace of play is always great. Not a difficult course but a great feel good round. I highly recommend this course for the tremendous value.

I booked on line at incredible price. The weather was perfect, the staff very friendly and accommodating specialy the Marshall who would give us pointers as where to aim to stay out of trouble on a few holes. It is a short course but very enjoyable to play and perfect occasion to use clubs that are ignored most of the Summer on longer course.
We will go back.
