Great course
First time playing this course and I absolutely loved it. All the staff was very friendly and the course was a great difficulty level for an intermediate player like myself. The value is absolutely amazing and I’ll definitely be back. Only thing I would change is having a second person behind the desk in the pro shop, as I walked in the front door 15 minutes before my tee time and waited a long time due to phone calls and other customers in line, so I was nearly late for the starter. (I would also appreciate more realistic cart rental prices, but that may just be me being cheap lol)
Solid Track
Challenging to every skill level of golfer. Nice layout makes you play target golf, especially from the Tips. All around good course, tough greens make sure to read the putt carefully
Good review, we agree, thanks!
Thanks
Great course, great value!
Excellent course with many interesting hole layouts! I rate a course higher when it is challenging and makes you select clubs at different points rather than just driver, high iron. This was a great usage of all the clubs! Minor knock on some of the tee boxes not being level, but very minor!
Thanks for your feedback!
Well maintained greens keeper should be commended for efforts and course maintenance.
We will have to improve on Conditions,
My first century pines experience
Incredible course. Fast greens. Very very well kept. My hat is off to the greens keeper, looks like he loves his job. Out of all the courses I've played over the last 4 years, this is top 3 and now my favorite course of 2019. Gonna be hard to beat that course. To all the staff and maintenance at Century Pines, thanks for accommodating me and my buddies, and thank you for a great experience. Outstanding. Peace!
Awesome thanks for the feedback!
Thanks
Thanks
We were all disappointed with the interaction we received with the morning pro shop staff fellow. He was curt and not friendly or welcoming.
Will pass along to Zach our proshop manager. Thanks and we will do better!
Fantastic Course, Even Better Staff!
Many thanks to the Pro Shop staff for squeezing us in when GolfNow triple booked our tee time. They did everything in their power to accomodate both our tee time, and price, even when GolfNow cancelled our tee time an hour before. The staff went overboard, the course was groomed beautifully and... for one of the busiest days of the year, the pace was perfect for our foursome.
Thanks, technology always seems to throw us knuckleballs, glad it worked out.
Course plays well
A great day on a fine course. Everything in good shape. Well manicured. Fast greens.
However the dining room and food services was closed when we got off at 7:30pm.
Thanks, yes it is tough keeping the restaurant open as we are finding more and more customers don't eat.
Sloppy
I get that it has been raining a lot but the majority of the fairways had substantial standing water. Balls plugged all day in this stuff. There was no roll at all. Trying to find a ball in the rough was almost impossible.
We had to stay on the cart path which meant walking a far distance to the ball and back to the cart which made this a slow round.
The course should have cut greens fees or offered some type of voucher for a return visit.
We are happy for a sunny day of golf but I needed to bring my duck boots!
It was disappointing
This spring we believe has been our worst in rainfall. It has been a challenge, thanks for the feedback
Superb
Great layout. Best shape to date as I have played 15 rounds already. Great pace. Great staff. Sad to see it not busy.
Thanks, we are working on spreading the word about this course.
Awesome!
slow round and dissappointed in half way house
Played this past Sunday. With all the rain recently, the course was a little soggy, but was to be expected with all that rain. The round took 5.5 hours, which was tough. As well, when stopping in at the half way house, they offered to make sandwiches, however no meat to make ham, turkey, or roast beef. They were just able to make tuna, egg, or pastrami. This was kind of disappointing to say the least. I would maybe expect this later in the day, but this was at 12:30!
Thanks, will pass this along to Chef Nina and Zach in the proshop
Great course
Very interesting layout. It’s challenging without being overwhelming. First round of the year so it was quite wet but the conditions were excellent. The greens were in very good shape and incredibly consistent.
Very friendly staff made it even more enjoyable. It’s slightly more expensive then Flamborough Downs which is comparable. However due to some shorter par 4s and 5s pace of play could drag if you get some weekend heros out there.
Overall would definitely play again.
Thanks, greens are rolled and cut usually each day.
Wet course
The course was really wet and again they over booked. The greens were in good shape, water levels in the streams and pond were very high. But I wish they stop over booking the pace was slow, an almost 5 hr around and that’s us passing two groups after nine holes who stop for drinks and food.
We will work on the booking and make sure it is spaced better. Thanks for the feed back.
Soggy and wet
The course is water logged with many shots plugging even in the fairway. Greens were in decent shape for this time of the year. Needs to dry out.
Still waiting for it to dry out! Maybe in June!
Wet day on the links
The course was extremely wet Probably should have been closed. The pro shop made us pay for carts because of the water issues. $ 20 each ! I guess the cost of riding has gone up? Would not recommend playing here. Felt like we were taken advantage of by the staff.
We will not let this happen again! Next time we will shut it down until it is playable.
Thanks!
