Pace of play got really slowed down by a group of walkers that did not understand that you allow others to play through when other groups are catching up. 3 groups got backed up because this group didn’t want to allow others to play through. Could have been better with a course marshal to speed up play for all.

Tee boxes are the worst I’ve ever seen. Greens covered in dollar spot fungus, ball divers and winter burn is still there in September. Pace of play is very slow and no Marshall to deal with unruly and slow players. I will pay the extra $10-$20 to play a nicer course. This said, for $30, it isn’t bad value for money.

Played here because we couldn’t find another tee time Sunday, and it’s a decent value at $30 for 18 holes. The course is in much better shape than earlier in the summer, water features are filling back in, but the tee boxes are non-existent (just dirt and mud), which was our biggest disappointment. Greens are in great condition, fairways need work, and pace of play was a bit slow at the start (though obviously not the course’s fault). Range is closed for some reason, and didn’t see anywhere to practice putting either. But again, it’s cheap and it’s a pretty area to get a round in.

Very poor golf course conditions. For 120$ for two green fees plus cart, I wasn’t sure what to expect. All tee boxes have no grass. Some greens are in decent shape and some are terrible. I wish I didn’t waste my time and money playing a course thats obviously not well maintained. The course has a lot of potential, good layout. But there’s an obvious lack of funding for the maintenance and grounds to be as awful as what they are. End of story, play somewhere else.

I knew that it would not be a top rated course. I am from the area and had been there before a few years ago.

Back then, it was in decent shape and I was bringing 3 guests (not avid golfers) who wanted a decent layout that we could enjoy locally without the added cost and pressure a higher rated course may cause for them.

Unfortunately, our playing experience was terrible. Tees which had no grass on them whatsoever. Fairways that were no more than a mowed track of weeds and greens which had so much winter kill, aeration and top dressing (literal mounds in some areas) that they were unplayable if you didn’t land your ball within 8 feet of the pin.

The experience was terrible and with no explanation of what to expect, you can appreciate that the nearly 200$ spent for 4 felt like a total rip off.

If this course is being left for dead while developers wait for approvals to build the next condo farm then tell us. If not, then find ways to keep people coming while you step up your game. I know I won’t be back and certainly won’t let any of my friends make the same mistake.

I had a good idea of what to expect before I reserved but for the price with the Golf Now hot deal it was acceptable since it was my 1st time this year. So for me it was just a driving range session but on the course. This course needs rain to stay in good shape and this summer we didn't had much. Tee off are so damage that I would recommend to have a synthetic golf carpet on each tee off to have a kind of grass feeling when driving. On the other hand green are in a very acceptable condition. My downside of this day is that the grass keeper has cut the grass on 7 of the 9 hole we played...

Course seems like it could be nice, layout is pretty good but it was in rough condition, lot of dirt patches and poorly maintained. I’d accept all that for the $10 we paid for 9 holes (15ea after all fees) but then the guy in the golf shop charged us $10 a head for push carts, I thought it seemed pricy especially since normal carts are only 17.50 so I checked the website after playing and it lists push carts as $6. Hope the $8 in his pocket is worth the course never seeing me or my mates money again

This place has potential, but it is in rough shape. There is little to no grass on the tee boxes or on most of the fairways. Greens were is bad shape, but we’re somewhat playable. I likely won’t be back.

This course has dried up badly since I last played in June. Tee boxes are bare dirt, fairways and rough equally dry and dusty, and even the greens are suffering, being generally bumpy and very slow. It is otherwise a nice layout and the best value in the Ottawa area. I look forward to playing in the Fall when Nature improves conditions.

The course was extremely dry, like, yellow grass and a lot of dirt on the fairways. Ponds were drained. Greens were passable, but mind you this is all in the midst of a drought basically on the Gatineau side, so it seems they're doing the best they can.

The speed of play was fine, but the shape of the course was poor. There was no grass in t-box on almost all holes. The water hazards only a few had water. There were no distance markers on fairways or directions to the next hole.
Almost all of the holes had a challenge. With thoughtful maintenance, the course could be very good.

As stated by several others, the staff at this course is friendly and welcoming. Once you’ve left the pro shop, you’ll find a dusty, burnt out track that is as hard as the gravel parking lot. This course is so dry, several water features are dried to the bone as are the “sand trap” style tee-boxes. The water hazards that remain are a vomit inducing stench factory and should be avoided at all costs.
The fairways are as dry and dead as the tee boxes but 3/4 of most greens are playable. Barely.

It’s a cheap course but you can find cheaper anywhere you look.....I played at 5:10 ($40 ish with tax and cart) and could have played the marshes for $40 with cart (anytime after 5- check it out. Great twilight deal)

This course is a cheap option during the day but I’d only consider it as a last resort.
Without any real investment in an irrigation system and a real grounds crew, this dust track will blow away in the wind within the next couple years.

No signage, poor pin setup(for Covid), awful conditions, very slow pace. Would not recommend

Good value for the money but don’t expect great conditions on the tee or fairways. Very nice staff.
