I like the club house and the overall look of this old school course.
The pace of play was extremely slow. This is an old school course with a lot of dog legs. I really liked the "feel" of the course. The greens are very small and so are the bunkers but they are really well placed. From the back tees there are some very odd tee boxes that don't seem to belong. Overall I would like to play this course a few more times to see if the pace of play is always really slow, or if it was just a bad day.
it's cheap
this is a great old course. go play there. they used to play the byron nelson here before moving to tpc las collinis. it used to be a country club. it's not anymore. so now us poor people can play there. so go play there.
Fun course, greens need work
Neat old track with a lot of history. Really long from the tips and could use more yardage markers. Fairways were okay but the greens held shots but were pretty inconsistent for putting. Not bad for under $20 though. Wouldn't suggest walking it, can get pretty hilly.
Nice curve appeal.
This was a horrible experiecne.
I have played golf for almost 13 years. I don't believe I have ever played on a golf course that allowed six players to tee off at the same time and play an entire 18 holes of golf, especially on a Saturday! I was right behid them on the back 9 and the third group behind them on the front.
I found that to be the most rediculous thing I have ever imagined. Needless to say, our round of golf went for over 5 hours. This can not be!
It would be an excellent gesture if you would provide my son and I a refund or another round of golf free of charge. That was my first time playing your course. After hitting and waiting what seemed like 15 minutes or more, there was no way to get a rythem or even enjoy the round period. I truely felt like this was a big waste of my time and for sure my money.
We drove all the way from Saint Paul Texas to experience this. It took us over an hour to get there and to be disgusted and frustrated the way we were is really sad and a huge waste of gas.
Please consider the refund or a free round to try this again.
Thank you in advance.
Dave
Good older course, but just punched the fairways
This is a older course. It is a old country club, and has that old style feeling.
