Willows Run Golf Club - Eagle's Talon Course
About
Willows Run Golf Club has something for every golfer with two 18-hole links courses, a nine-hole, par-3 course, and a "themed" putting course that draws inspiration from courses in four different climate zones. Located in the Sammamish River Valley, there are stunning views of Mount Rainier to the south. Eagle's Talon is one of the 18-hole, championship courses. With four sets of tees, the golf course appeals to a wide range of skill levels. The links-style course is challenging but fair, with strategically placed bunkers and rough. Water also has a prominent presence, with the Sammamish River running alongside the two championship courses. The river is home to several runs of salmon and trout and it also attracts a variety of birds including ducks and blue herons.

good course, but course condition was more to be needed maintain
better than 2 weeks ago, but still need maintain course.
This course was best in Seattle area, but not now.
too much water, course need soil ( masato?) and sandy.
SLOW. 5.5 hour round.
If you like 5+ hour rounds, this course is for you. The marshals drive around the course but did nothing to speed up play. Granted they really can't do anything when most tee boxes had 2 groups bunched.
Navarre family
Other than pace of play, and no beverage cart available on an 80 degree day, everything was great. Thank you
eagle talon course
the green is very good, fair way a little wet , all bunker is very bad ( water in side)
Great course
Just very wet from the winter season so the rough is really rough
Terrible Maintenance
Greens are constantly bumpy and uneven. Clumps of grass cuttings are left everywhere. Boring layout. 6hr weekend rounds. I only play here once a year to remind me how far this place has gone down hill.
Willows in April
Course is wet, you should wait until its dry and they have time to give it the up keep it needs.
They charged $6.98
They charged $6.98, even though you say without $6.98.
Bunkers
Enjoy having two courses. Great staff. Wish the bunkers had more sand and were a bit more consistent.
No Temporary Greens.. NEVER!!
If you have the itch to play on cold freezing day and your home course have all temp greens, Willows’s is your answer! It’s winter golf so I’m cool with $19 GolfNow green fee with cart, fees and tax! No complaints whatsoever! Nice new carts with gps!!
great staff
Sand traps suck. I understand it is hard to maintain traps in the winter but they need to put more sand in the traps so they are more consistent .
Getting better
These guys have been steadily getting better. Course was in good shape especially in light of all the rain. Greens were soft but they punched a morning and afternoon hole, so that helped with the traffic. Hot time for $20 was a great deal, normally I feel they are a bit high for what you get.
The review
Nice course but due to rain from last week, the course is pretty soft.. Over all course is really nice.
Wet but fun
Played amazing hot deal on a dry day after soaker rains. Soggy in places but course held up well and glad I had a cart from the path just to stay out of fairways between shots. Greens were nice after a month of being punched. My new favorite GolfNow course near Seattle. Recommend for layout, facilities, staff. Haven’t tried restaurant.
If no rain, it's good to be there for play the game.
nice course near Seattle
We were staying in downtown Seattle and were looking for a nearby course. Never played this course before. It was fairly wet from recent rains. Layout is nice, greens were pretty good, fairways were wet. Good value for a public course.
