3 hours and 30 minutes on a Sunday!!
Breezy but beautiful Sunday morning round. Greens were firm and fast and the entire course was in great shape!
Good course....but pace
The front nine pace is good....the back nine pace is poor. The design of holes 10 and 11 bring the pace of play to a screeching halt. Both holes could easily be modified to dramatically improve the pace of play. After the turn, the backup to start hole 10 can easily be 20-30 minutes.
Perfect Greens
I've been playing this course for over 15 years (Since the starter was in a trailer). The recent renovations of the greens a few years ago have really paid off. They (the greens) are PGA perfect. Absolutely immaculate! Overseeded fairways were in excellent condition...keep up the good work!
Nice wide open course layout but
The pace of play was very slow. With a tee time just after 1pm, we finished in the dark. Never saw any evidence of a course marshal....maybe that is why people move so slow on this course. The gentleman at the front desk was very curt with me....must have been having a bad day. I like the course layout and the condition of the course, but count on a slow round....
Beautiful greens at Saddlebrooke Ranch!
The course was in great condition! The greens were exceptional, rolling beautifully! Congratulations to the groundskeeping staff.
Hard to get on since residents growing in number
On my round the pace of play was good. Course condition was good. It is getting harder to get tee times at this course because the number of residents can keep the course busy most of the time. The course layout is fairly open, and forgiving.
Greens...
Best value around. Course and Greens are in awesome shape. Highly recommend..
Decent layout, slow play , indifferent staff
We had a frost delay and didn't tee off until 1:15. No rangers , and the group in front of us fell far behind on the back nine (2 1/2 hours), they were residents and didn't seem to care that there were two other groups waiting for them on every hole (worse yet, they were only a threesome). Course is fairly easy, flat, but have the fastest greens we have ever played on. The course difficulty is all on the greens. Three putting appears common and 4 putting not rare. I would only go back for the price we paid $42/person.
Greens Like Putting on Marble
Nice layout. Fairways and greens dormant. Fairway grass cut too short. Easier to hit from rough. Greens fastest
I ever played. Very difficult to judge speed.
Painfully Slow pace of play
Needed the Marshall to stay on top of the group in front of ours. We had groups on our heels the entire round with an open hole in front of the group ahead of us and the Marshall wouldn’t move them along. Disappointing!
Spectacular
The course is in spectacular shape. Well maintained carts, Wide fairways and forgiving greens. Pace of play was incredible. This is definitely my new favorite in Tucson.
Super nicely rolling greens
I had a great time - great course conditions, got paired with two players that were the epitome of gentlemen. Just great day!
