eQuinelle Golf Club

Course was in great shape for this time of year. They do an excellent job of keeping fairways clear of leaves. Greens still fast considering there is early frost.

Excellent course for the money. I would strong recommend anyone to play it that likes a challenge and doesnt like to empty their wallet to do it.

It was a cold and windy morning and made the course even more challenging. But the course is in great shape!

Approaching one of the last beautiful days of the season and a sold-out tee-sheet, I certainly expected a slow round and to our surprise, we finished in just over 4 hours. The course is very challenging and in impeccable condition. Very glad we made the 1 1/2 trip from Kingston. What topped off the round was the friendliest ProShop Attendant and Starter I've seen in a long time. A must play for a few return rounds for next year

This was my first time playing eQuinelle, and I will definitely play there again. Course was in magnificent shape, even in mid-October. The course was very fair, but there were lots of bunkers and water hazards to receive any misplaced shots. Tee shot on #1 is an intimidating way to start a round.

The front and back were very different. Front borders all the new homes being built along the course and the back a more wooded lush course. On the front they were sanding the fairways so it was playing off of pure sand in some holes. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Once everything calms down around this course it will be a
Very enjoyable track that is challenging yet fun.

Very fair tee to green. The greens are tough, plenty of slope and not slow! Great variety in the layout, long and short holes, doglegs, another fun design by Darrell Huxham.

Very good layout with precise shot to avoid hazard.

The great thing about this golf course in addition to being in great shape is that there were no bugs at all!
The fairways are like carpets.

It is a good course. But two the greens in real bad shape. They changed the 1st and 10th holes they reversed them. So if you go ask where you start.

Love everything about Equinelle. Always friendly staff, great conditions, fun and challenging course.

Beautiful course, was well worth the drive from Orleans On (80 kms) Second time this season and look forward to playing this course again this season... Keep up the great work!

The new clubhouse should be open 2nd week of September.

I went to this course with my girlfriend and father. My father battles with a condition of alzheimers and enjoys to watch golf, it helps him get out.

We had called ahead of time and informed them that we were bringing my father and he has alzheimers and they said that they would not charge us for his spectator fee. When we got there they didnt want to charge us for the cart my girlfriend and father were using (I was walking) and they were so kind to my father, they even gave him a free hat. They made the experience very enjoyable and it was extremely appreciated.

I have never been treated to well at a golf course with class and respect considering they didnt have to accommodate at all. I will never forget the people at this golf course for what they did. Very kind people.

eQuinelle is a great course and in excellent shape. It's challenging and very enjoyable, the staff are great and the new clubhouse is really taking shape! Really worth the drive, great day!

The course is an excellent one to test your ability from the fairways, Many sand traps to entice your ball on the way to the green. Huge flat tee boxes and wide driving areas. The greens are large and many putts are straight although it seems like they should break. The new clubhouse opens in a few weeks and looks awesome. All in our group can't wait to get back there and play again.

Generous and plush fairways, great bunkers and large undulating greens. Reachable par 5's.
Note: Red blocks on the No. 1 Tee box - Almost impossible to hit a tee-shot over the water/marsh ( standing 6 feet tall - 10 wards away, must carry 130 yards - very intimidating first shot, especially for the high handicapper. The tee box should be moved over to the fairway ... period!
Also, when maintenance repairs are being done, (punching greens) they should inform the public or offer some kind of last minute discount. A touch of courtesy can go a long way ...
I'll give it another go, I'd like a chance to play the course as it was intended to be played.

A great course. Greens are getting better(I played Saturday and again yesterday(Monday) and I could already tell a difference on the greens now that they've been aerated early last week.

Otherwise this course really is a gem with bent grass fairways. It's a fairly long course so if you hit shorter, it may be more challenging but still a lot of fun.
