This course closed January 19th 2016 for good
On January 19th, 2016, this course closed it doors. No longer in business. it was not in great shape but it was a fun place to play. Sad to see any course close.
Waist of time and money
The greens and fairways were in horrible condition. I won't be coming back to this course.
Course not in good shape
Ok for the money, needs water. Need to keep fairways and greens better
Fun course to play
The staff our friendly and the course is fun toi play
Very disappointed :(
We played the course when it was Fox Creek - thought it would be an improvement under new management (Faith Bridge) but it was not. I don't think the course had been mowed in over a week - had to walk through foot high grass to get to the tee boxes which weren't in much better condition. There are no fairways - the rough and fairways are cut the same height! Greens are pretty ragged. Got a great deal but can't say it did any good for our game. Should have gone to a driving range.
Awful...Save your money. NEVER AGAIN
Would rate a zero if available.
Greens were absolutely HORRIBLE
Fairways pitiful
No water staged
No club cleaners
Few ball cleaners
Course design was not challenging, the condition of the course is why I rated it challenging.
COURSE HAS SEEN MUCH BETTER DAYS
Played this course this day for the first time in a couple years after finding out it is no longer called fox creek, the course is closed during the week which would make you think it should be in great conditions for the weekend, you would be wrong. i lost at least 3 or 4 balls in the fairway thats how long the grass is cart paths are in bad shape. i would not spend the money gas wasted to play this course again even if you're a beginner its not worth it unless you live within 5 mins from course
Secluded and tranquil
Nice layout but needs a lot of work. Fairways and greens need TLC. Lots of power lines come into play and no cart paths but it is what it is. Staff was friendly and stock up on snacks and drinks. No cart girl or drinking water in the course. Very peaceful!!!
Course in bad condition without any irrigaion
This course needs water. There doesn't appear to be irrigation, it only relies on natural rain fall which has the course in bad shape
Horrible place to play
Goat track, no water to drink for 18 holes and no grass...just mowed weeds. Worst place I have ever played in 30 years of golf and the only reason we played there is because it was cheap and last minute.
Good if you hate slow pace at other courses
I always have very good and enjoyable time playing there.
good value golf
Nice, long, smart layout. Fast greens, have to play smart layups. Good scoring if you play smart. Worth the drive out to the country.
VERY THICK FAIRWAYS
They need to mow the fairways!!! when a player hits a great tee shot down the middle of the fairway and still cant find it among the thick fairway, then its time to go play somewhere else. Greens are great, but those fairways needs ALOT of mowing and pruning!! This use to be one of my favorites courses to play since pace of play is great, but now i'll be looking somewhere else to play.
excellent staff
Was greeted friendly and punctually, in and out of the clubhouse to hit balls and tee off... very friendly and will return to this facility in the future
Good enough to have a good game
Let start with the following comment: We are a beginners and were able to have a real Golf experience. Staff were very friendly, course is challenge due lakes and narrow fairways. Only play 9 Holes and I think is a cheap golf course that have the minimum things to play. Definitely we will return.
Country Golf
This is the second trip to Faith Bridge. We played the course the on 6/6 when most of the other courses around Houston was closed due to the recent flooding. Nothing fancy but challenging. I brought my 2 junior golfers out and they really enjoyed playing at Faith Bridge. it is not a crowded course (at least when we played) no one holding us up in front or pushing us from behind. Well worth the price, we will be back!
No Drinking Water on Course
No drinking water on course. At turn, my wife and I tried to refill our water bottles in clubhouse, but it was locked....at 5:45. It's very hot in Texas during the summer, and they have to do something to make drinking water available for safety's sake.
A decent value
Let me first start off by saying that I found a deal online which is why I rated the Value for the Money at 5 stars. I would not pay full price for this course. The course isn't any special, but a nice place to play if you are a beginner-to-intermediate golfer looking to just get out and play a round of golf on the cheaper end. The fairways and greens are not anything you would expect to see on a good golf course, but they weren't so poor that it ruined my appetite. The only thing that did were the bunkers - they are pits of dirt. But, I would play again...as long as I got another deal online.
On another note, their BBQ Pork sandwiches are really good.
good course for the money
Very reasonable for the price. The staff is friendly and i have not had a bad experience so far.
Fun, not overcrowded and in good condition
I've played this course regularly for about 2 years now and I have to say, for the price you aren't going to find a much better course to have a quick fun round of golf on. It's never overcrowded like Bear Creek off of Hwy 6 or Cinco Ranch Golf Club. If you live in Katy the drive is only 30 minutes and being located in the country there is no fighting traffic to get out there. The holes are nicely laid out and the gas carts help you zip around the course very quickly. You can regularly find $10 hot deals for this course. You can't beat that price for a full 18 holes on a decent course.
