Enjoyed the course and elevated tee boxes. Greens were a little bumpy, but the company was good. Had fun!

Short yardage course, but challenging none the less. The mountain views are worth the cart fee even if you don't golf! Absolutely awesome day!

Copper Creek GC is a surprisingly fun and interesting course. I've hear & read mixed reviews. I'd say that if you're a low handicap player or a beginner, this may not be the ideal course for you. The rating and slope numbers and yardage really don't give you a great impression of the course. If you like fun, stimulating golf, this course is worth a visit.

The staff is quite friendly. Their website hole-by-hole description is worth reading in advance if you've never played there.

The course plays narrow with definite forced carries and plenty of lateral rough to avoid. Ball will tend to bounce right. Somewhat blind shots will challenge you. Holes #2, 9, 14, and 18 are severely downhill to the point that #9 and #18 have signs telling you to wait to tee off until the green is clear even with 264 & 415 yardages. FWIW, #1 & 9 are less than driver tee shots if you hit average or above distances.

Due to the altitude, the grass on the greens can be challenged after a tough or dry winter, so don't expect perfect rolls. The course is walkable for people who hike at altitude, but most will prefer a cart.

The restaurant closes at 6p on weekdays.

The views of the mountains are rather impressive.

The 9863' tee box on #14 is supposed to be the highest tee box in North America. Cool if you're into that sort of thing!

I have played here several times and found 12:40 hot deal at 10AM on Wed so booked prepaid with my buddy. It was his first time as he usually plays Keystone, Raven or Denver public courses. Greens were in good condition and the consistency is what I like most. It's a tight course but poses some challenges so still require good tee shots (I typically only use driver on 3 holes) and solid approach to smaller than avg greens. There are a couple quirky holes (#5 and 8) that require extremely precise tee shot with hybrid or iron (for longer hitters) and 2nd shot or else you are looking at double bogey. The #5 green is drivable from blue tees if you have Dustin Johnson length with Zach Johnson precision. Just about every round I have seen someone (including myself) hit the approach shot (even with wedge) into the water as green is wicked narrow. Overall course is fun and have played it under 4 hours several times during week. I don't play on weekends.

Fun afternoon of golf in the high country. Hadn't planned to golf, but a $30 rd was too hard to pass up. It stung a little for club rental ($32), but overall it was enjoyable. Course conditions were very good. Some holes are a bit quirky due to limited space, but fair nonetheless. We'd play it again :)

Staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. Both in the pro shop and on the course. My wife and I enjoyed our experience. Course is not easy but fun to play. Greens were quick. For the most part course is in excellent condition.

Disappointing course. There were very good reviews which is the reason I played here. However, it did not live up to my expectations. Price was great given other courses in the area but more expensive compared to what you get. Starting with the range which is just a mat and a net. Putting green was out of service. Because of this, I asked the pro in the pro shop how fast the greens were and he said fast but they were really quite slow. Layout was nice. Pace of play was slow. They had a ranger who was answering a complaint of slow play but never improved. Dandelion were frequently around greens and tee boxes. Disappointing!

In all fairness, the course had only been open for the summer season two days when we played. We knew we were in for an interesting round of golf when the lass in the twosome in front of us was wearing a micro-mini skort and flip-flops, who bragged about having never golfed. The par is 69, please take that into consideration when deciding tees to play, divide the yardage by 69 not 72. There is not warm up range, to "warm up" you must hit off a mat into a net just feet in front of you. Not a good way to start. The layout was contrived, it appeared the course was designed as an afterthought, with accommodations for ski runs, chair lifts, and houses. Many forced carries over water and water hazards. Many holes have blind shots from the tee or approach shot. The course was in remarkably good condition for just coming out of winter. As with most resort courses in the West, visitors do not appear to have enough respect for the game to fix ball marks or rake bunkers.

It took us 4.5 hours to finish this fairly short course with 2 of us following 2 threesomes.

I love this course. Many interesting holes to play.

My first time playing at Copper Creek was most enjoyable. The course was well maintained and a good challenge. The staff was friendly and the restaurant food was good. I look forward to playing here again.Playing here was a good value and I was pleased overall. I look forward to playing the course again.
