Great course
Greens and fairways were in good shape. Staff was very helpful.
Much better than Soutwyck
Course was in great shape. Greens and fairways were excellent. Pace of play was good although no marshal present to prevent issues.

Great shape course
With Houston being in a 3+ month heat window of 100°+, I was pleasantly surprised of how well this course was maintained. The greens were in good shape, fairways were good, and tee boxes were a little tough to great a tee in. I played the full 18.

Pretty good course - would be better not in a drought.
Definitely a good mix of open fairways and challenging hazards. Unfortunately, during the summer drought, many of the water hazards had completely dried up. This took away from the natural beauty of the course. Also, some of the grassy areas to the sides of the bunkers and fairway were basically dust.
Also forgot my rangefinder on the cart and it never got turned in, which is not the course's fault just a bummer.

This is the best I have ever seen the greens here. You can tell a lot of effort is being put into the course right now. A few areas still need help, but at this price point the conditions are above average now that the greens are rolling well.
