Loads of hazards
I really enjoyed playing this course you have to be fairly consistent off the tee. Every hole has its dangers with most holes having trees or ponds for you to find. The greens rolled nicely without being too fast but the double sided tree lined 220yd par 3 with a massive bunker in front is horrendous!! Walking off with a 4 is decent.
Challenging course. Accuracy off the tee is essential. Course in brilliant condition especially the greens. Overall great value for money.
A Windy challenge
The weather was very windy and caused us a lot of trouble when the ball went above the tree line especially. Very challenging but very playable. Course management is required!
A foursome in front of us couldn’t have been any slower had they tried and became something of a distraction. never waited so long on so many holes waiting for them to putt out!
The course was a great challenge with some nasty hazards / lovely features
Would play again, hopefully not behind the same guys as last time
Hidden Gem
Booked this course whilst attending a wedding at the nearby Carden Park. Having already played Carden Park previously, I was put off by the £95 green fee so decided to look elsewhere and came across Aldersey Green. The course is relatively long, with testing tight tee shots on many holes, fairways and greens were both in immaculate condition. Overall this course was a better challenge than Carden Park and significantly better value for money, couldn't recommend it enough.
great day
Had a great day.
Staff friendly & working hard to improve the greens.
Food & drink after 18 holes very good & well priced, welcoming bar staff
Greens
Very poor greens for the time of year.hit and hope .not worth 25pounds my local municipal is miles better over all a disappointing experience wont go back not because of the greens just the pace of play 10 to 15 minutes on nearly every hole .
Mailman
Course tricky and testing greens where the only disappointment pitted in places
Course condition
Played here a lot last year and the course was in fantastic condition.
Played last Friday and the lay out is great and fairways but what has happened to the greens??
Every single green has bald patches and little divots??
This is spoiling a fantastic course so your putts become hit and hope.
Come on green keeper they have to be better than this. Otherwise a great course.
Lovely
Friendly course and people.Bit soggy, but course is a great place to play. Not hilly, some great holes and long par threes. Highly recommended.
Greens in very poor condition and tees being brought far to forward spoilt the round.
Alderney green golf club
Firstly on walking up to the 1st tee we realised that the tee was shut and the teeing area was 50 yards up the fairway just plonked there not even on flat ground , well to our amazement this was the same on all 18 holes with each hole losing around 30-50 yards so that’s approximately 900 yards lost to which the lady in the pro shop said well you got it discounted so that’s ok how rude ..Then the greens were SHOCKING ever single one bumpy worn and diseased no chance of having a true putt to be honest worst course I have played on for a good while the cost of the round was £20 not worth half that will not be playing there again and will not be recommending this course ..
Fantastic course well worth the money would come again and recommend to all.
Thanks to all the staff had a really great round of golf.
Great course
Great course. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
Hot deal
Course in poor condition all on uneven temporary tees greens in poor overall condition.
Nothing like how it is in summertime
Myself
Course in good condition even though winter played off winter tees but all greens played front nine felt like we were only people on Course really enjoyed it
