Two very nice par threes.

Other than the two par threes, felt as though we were playing in a farmers feild. With fence round every green to keep the sheep off. Greens were very good. But sheep and excrement covering each fair way and surrounding rough. Wind was strong so difficult going.

Very good

Played for the 1st time today. Greens very good considering the weather. On winter tees which shortens some of the holes a little. Very testing on a wet and windy day

Wonderful Appleby

Been to Appleby numerous times for Open Competitions but decided to take some friends for a day out.
Everything was superb. The weather helped as there wasn't a breath of wind which helps on a course set on moorland. The course was in excellent shape and the greens some of the best I've played on.
Caterers were due to finish at 3.30 on a Tuesday but stayed on to feed us after our round. Fantastic service and lovely food.
We'll be going back again without a doubt.
