Use good shoes
Lovely little course. I played with my father in law and he struggled with his push trolley as everything is on a slope. Up and down is ok but trying to take a trolley on a left to right type slope is tough in sloppy conditions. We only managed 9 holes. If you are younger and fitter it is much easier. I’m 52 and enjoyed it.
A cracking course , Condition is excellent . With breath taking views . Would even join if I lived closer . Probably go every month though . Most excellent 👌
Love this place!
Amazing views, funky course layout, short overall but don't let that fool you, course management and accurate tee shots reward you with chances to score well. Lots of elevation change, rolling fairways, scenic green complexes and interesting tee box positions make this one to remember.
Beautiful views
No pro shop and no par fives only things to let the place down.
Bakewell ⛳️

A tad wet in places, but where isn’t this time of year
Be back soon deffo
Bakewell
Absolutely cracking 9 hole course, no need for 28 holes. No one working in clubhouse ??
It’s okay
This is only a 9hole course. Very confusing layout. No real welcome area or check in spot. Large groups on course practicing. Won’t play here again. Course was okay.
Hilly, but great views.
Bakewell golf club is a friendly, compact golf course routed over a hillside. It makes the best use of the land it’s built on. Value for money is excellent, as you would struggle to get on a municipal for likewise green fee. I thought the course was in good overall condition, although a few areas could do with a little more work. Overall, a good little golf club to have a game if you’re in Bakewell or holidaying. Hole 7 / 16 is standout hole hitting over a road - a drivable par 4 with great elevated views of Derbyshire. Your legs will get a good workout.
Challenging picturesque course
On the day we played the course was in overall good condition with exception of some greens, which were bumpy but true. We played early afternoon and almost had millionaires golf.
Great all year round course
Always love this course. Staff and members always so welcoming and helpful. It's a 9 hole course with different pin positions so you play it round twice, but some of holes are a joy to play so much you don't mind. It's on side of a hill slope so would recommend not taking a trolly. This course is still in good condition in late Autumn and early spring as it has fairly good natural drainage.
Extraordinary course
This course is a serious workout esp when ground conditions are wet which they were - very! Greens have suffered badly with the wet.
Not that keen on shared greens/fairways but as there was only one ofother pair on the entire course it was no t an issue.
The Par 3 9h/18th is a real gem.
Good value for money
Made to feel really welcome
Views where amazing
Overall really nice small course
