2nd time in a week playing. Both times had temp Greens on some of front 9. Greens that weren't temp Greens played very well. Fairways muddy still and balls plugging to be expected due to recent weather.
Played on my own and had decent pace of play and caught up to 2 ball in front of me on 16th.
Great value for money. Lovely pint at end in frosted glass.
Again, value for money as getting back into golf after long lay off. Went round in 9 over for first round in 7 years

Course isn't in great condition, 18 temporary greens, the fairways were so long it might as well have been the rough. I left after 3 holes...

Overall the course was very average with both the fairways and the greens being kept in okay condition. The tee boxes were also quite tough. The staff were very friendly and the little clubhouse served decent food. However, for a council run course you should definitely give it a shot considering the price.

Nice course, fairways kept well, greens quite bobbly. Course layout is a bit hit and miss and confusing on where the next tee was. Overall a decent course and could be a lot better if maintained more with a few more facilities such as a putting green.

Course very wet but it didn’t rain, found it hard going but will return in drier weather. Good value for money.

For a council run course, money well spent! Purest of greens and those narrow tree/parkland protected fairways were hard to stay on! If you did miss off the tee you had to drop a shot to play the safety back on! Can't believe the greens, so smooth and honest.. 3rd time playing here and definitely progressing into a lovely course.

As a hole the course is OK however the greens have suffered grass loss with a fair few green with bald patches having said that as a rule they run fine

Not an easy course. Not great condition but family friendly and value for money.

Easy walking course, some tight fareways, a couple of ditches in the right places, well worth a visit.

I have played on this course quite a few times and even managed to get my first par here when I was younger. A really nice course and a good price aswell. Some of fairways are brilliant to play on and some are quite challenging because of the width.

The best deal existing. Crazy bargain. Tight front 9. Bit more forgiveness on back 9 but mind the ditches!
Although several greens are on 'temps,' none of the Tees are on winter mats.
Played several times now -always midweek so almost empty.
Cheap 'n cheerful 19th hole.
This is certainly not a venue for golf snobs. But as proper golfers know a golf course is a challenge to be taken on. No matter what the standard might appear to be.

Have played this course three times, course is flat but the layout is quite varied. Excellent value for money.

Haven't played here for twenty year's , but thought I'd give it a try, and wasnt disappointed. coarse played really well, trees have grown up since last played making it a tough little cookie . but enjoyable , definitely play here again soon .

Really enjoyed this course and have to say both the greens & fairways were in really good condition. Off course amenities were basic but ok and the pro shop was surprisingly good. Only real criticism was that some of the tee boxes were missing hole number markers and they need to put up 'next tee' way markers.

Greens are looking nice, cut on fairways good just a shame I didn't perform as well today, no one in front of us and on one behind and sun was shining bright.
