Stunning views

The course was very wet after a night of rain and therefore the ball did not run and the greens were slow. However, the views surrounding the course were stunning and highlighted how high up we were. The layout was good and some interesting, challenging holes. We played on a Monday and the clubhouse was closed for drinks and food.
Would like to play it again on a sunny summers day.

Your experience was better than mine. Found the attitude of some people rude and ignorant. Despite having time to progress, was asked to wait until a fourball on the previous hole went through. This really annoyed me and I walked off never to go back. Typical Yorkshire welcome

Good fun

Spectacular looking golf course in dramatic scenery. Fun layout and plenty of challenge- loads of blind tee shots and hidden hazards.
Only downside was that the greens were wooly and slow. Other than that, highly recommended.

Spring Round

Following recent rain this moorland course suffers from standing water on some fairways. Despite extending some paths between fairways in recent months patches of mud still exist.

Pace of play was good during this round but experience has shown that members tend to miss out the longer holes of 14 and 15 so may cut in front of you if you play a full 18.

Slow play ahead is no indication that they will let faster players play through.
