Great course
For the money the greens weren't great and temporary tees wasn't great should of been a reduced fee for that alone but I suppose courses have been closed so they need to make money somehow
Challenging course but needs better greens
The course is a varying one of short and longer holes but one thing in common currently is the standard of green. They’re obviously trying to complete important maintenance with the greens and have scarified & seeded them but this makes them rather a poor standard to play. I understand there needs to be important maintenance but it should definitely be considered in the cost and also players should be made aware at time of booking. There are plenty of other courses in the area and we went back to the Bank House because we felt it was one of the best in the area and today let it down somewhat.
Cant make my mind up ???
I really cant make my mind up....
an interesting layout... they describe as "florida" style... not quite sure why... ( there were no gators anywhere)...... need to play a few times to get my head around some of the holes...... some odd dog legs, long par 5's and long par 3's.... fairways on the front nine were a bit disappointing the grass was as long almost as a first cut rough, but the back nine was proper fairway length... greens were however excellent.

Disease all over the greens and very wet. £26 to play on a Wednesday at 10am when the course is in that condition is not value for money. £15 max. Not in any rush to go back.
Good course
Some good, testing holes. Great layout with a fair bit of water. So take some spare balls. Recommend to anyone.
Worth a visit
Well worth a visit, greens and fairways were very good, although we were behind a society, the pace of play was not to bad, the Pro and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Water water everywhere
Great course, conditions were excellent given recent weather. Water hazards on most holes really enjoyable day and good food and drink afterwards
My first time at Bransford and I have to say I was very impressed with the conditions of the course, especially the greens. I've played about twenty different courses this year so far and apart from Woburn these were the best greens I've putted on. The rest of the course was in good condition too.
I had hoped for a tea and some cake pre round but sadly had to make do with a chocolate bar from the pro shop.
Good warm up facilities with an extensive putting green and a separate chipping area. I did n't use the driving range but it looked functional enough.
Will be returning to this course again as I'd like to play the par 3's a bit better!
Getting better
Played at Bransford previously and the first impression was much better. The young man in the pro-shop was very welcoming and provided us with the right amount of information we needed. Course looks to have been improved in terms of drainage and was generally in a good condition for mid-April. Still playing off winter tees on most par 3's which was a bit disappointing but this didn't reduce our overall enjoyment of the course.
Dean rollason
Played this course some time ago and was good then
Went on 9-4-17 was in great condition greens were fantastic
And there are some great views
8 out of 10 for me
Will be playing again soon
Great Parkland Course
True Hidden Gem in the area! Challenging course that presents some pinpoint accuracy off the tee at times and others you can let it rip. Good balance of 3,4,5's and it feels as if you aren't in England while playing the course.
Good all round course
A very enjoyable round with a nice mixture of home layouts and length. Plenty of trouble if straying off line, but rewards to be had if not.
