Nice course shame about the weather

Got there early and was allowed to play right away. Staff in the pro shop helpful and friendly. Course in good condition greens very fast but there was a 30 mph gale blowing at the time which didn't spoil the experience especially if you are used to links golf. Would recommend to others but advise to be prepared for the Atlantic winds

Beautiful detting

Course was very busy due to a seniors event taking place and sadly we had to wait on many tees and fairways in order to play our shot. Course was long but in good condition and despite the severe winds we enjoyed our game.

Quirky links but great challenge

After a gentle opening few holes, this links gem really shows it’s quirky side. Blind tee shots, blind approach shots, and a few surprising elevation changes. Greens were in top condition considering it’s still winter. Some stunning par 3s with great pot bunkering. A great day’s golf and well worth the drive. Will certainly return.

Typical links course

I enjoyed playing this course though it does have a lot of blind shots and it is often quite difficult to see exactly where you are supposed to be playing too. For those who are new to the course, I think some improved signage to show the location of tees and fairways would help. Having said all that, it is a typical links course made more difficult when the wind blows (as it did when I played).

Back 9 is tougher than the front

A very well maintained course that breaks you in gently with some challenging holes, love playing here when I can

Course played well despite the amount of rain over the last few weeks. The second was in a temporary green due to some major renovations but the rest of the course was in excellent condition.

Where now?

Putting aside the heavy rain showers and strong wind, this was not an enjoyable round. Numerous footpaths cross the course and at one point we had to wait to tee off whilst three horse riders made their (very slow) way down a path, only for two walkers to then appear coming the other way.
We had buggies (these were good), thinking that this would help on a unknown course but we were wrong. Signage is very poor and on a number of occasions we had to drive around to find a tee. The course map on the scorecard was only moderately helpful. Some tees are ‘numbered’, some not. On one hole we gave up trying to find the ‘ladies’ tee. Where ‘buggy paths’ do exist, a number need maintenance.
Fairways were good, greens inconsistent. Some greens were half-tined but not in-filled.
Very disappointing.

Fantastic Course, well worth the trip

A really good course on a perfect weather day. Not too breezy and sun shining. Challenging rough but it should be for a links course. Played on my own and got caught behind 3 4 balls but to be expected really. Bar excellent and food looked good too. Parking could be an issue but I was dropped off and picked up.

A little links gem

Lovely course. Quirky lay out with lots of blind shots. As first time players at the course it was a bit hit and hope at times. But the pro did forewarn us of the quirks and the members were really helpful when they noticed us scratching our heads.

Very Friendly Great Course

This is a beautiful links course in the centre of Bude. The greens are in brilliant condition as is the rest of the course. The staff in the clubhouse are extremely friendly and welcoming . They could possibly do with a couple of signs on some holes as some doglegs are not evident with blind tee shots. Beware of walkers on the course, some of them don't look both ways!
