wonderful, challenging golf club
A member of this wonderful, challenging golf club. One of the few golf courses designed by JF Abercromby. A beautiful course especially in May when masses of Rhododendrons are in flower. Tight tree lined parkland course, with very fast, undulating greens. A real test from the back tees. Great clubhouse and friendly, welcoming staff.
Simply stunning
I lightly used club for the benefit of its members.
Tight wood/parkland course with a stunning layout. Many holes appears short but many a challenge lurks in its shape, contours and undulations. A true test of golf in both the physical and mental sense.
Always in stunning condition with greens that roll true and fast all year round.
On the 8th in the summer you best be putting uphill otherwise theres a risk you will be chipping back on after a downhill put.
Save some energy too for the long uphill 16th, known as Heart attack hill!
