Fantastic views

Really enjoyed the course. Good holes. Fortunately the weather was good, can imagine it would be very challenging in bad weather, but would definitely return.
Thank you to the club

Great links course

First time playing this course and a snip at £10 for a twilight round from 3pm.

Clubhouse was open on arrival, however I couldn’t find anyone to check in with. Not to worry though, after a quick hit on the tricky putting green I set off on my round. Judging by the emptiness of the car park, the course was pretty quiet, resulting in a quick pace of play.

The course was in decent condition, the fairways were excellent but some of the greens a tad bobbly but by no means unplayable.

First 9-10 holes are a little repetitive and up and down both in elevation and position. Some long testing par 4’s and some tricky par 3’s.

Would highly recommend, especially at £10!

Kev

Course never fails to deliver, year on year I’ve been coming back since 1995 and enjoy more every time.

Fairways are in lovely condition as are the greens.

Thank you Flamborough head and hope to see you again soon.

A most unpleasant experience

We booked the tee times the week before we we due to play the course. When we arrived in good time to check in, we were greeted by a most unfriendly man looking after the bookings in the pro shop. He told us that we could not play at our allotted time of 10.36 am. because it was Ladies day and you GBN,,the booking agent, had failed to adhere to this club's tee closure time requirement, yet again. He said he may be able to find us a time after 11.10 but it was difficult and said we may have to wait until after 1.30. His manner was most unpleasant.
We do not expect to have this greeting and mess up when we book a tee time. Between you and this golf club you need to get your act sorted out so that other people's holiday time is not ruined.

Welcoming

On arrival we received a warm welcome from members and staff on arrival at the course and given a free course map to help us around.
We found the course was in excellent condition and offered a challenge to both of us (especially if you find the rough from the tee) making it a really enjoyable round.
Food and drink in the clubhouse after the round was excellent as was the service which couldn’t be more welcoming.
