How let Hall

Nice couple of easy holes to start. Standing on the third tee I was slightly perplexed to see golfers in the dip below me as I was pretty sure I hadn’t caught anyone up so quickly. Continued after a slightly delay and later discovered it was a crossover hole. Halfway round a four ball allowed me through straightaway. The course flattens out in the mid section but MacKensie courses are always interesting. Allowed to play through again near the end and explained to the players that Hot Deals was such a bargain. I think they were impressed. The last hole is a long scenic par 3. Bunkered my tee shot but excelled myself by getting up and down for a par. You’ve got to go home happy after that.

Great Afternoon's Golf

It has been a while since we played this course, thanks to Covid, so we were hopeful it was still as good as we remembered. Howley didnt let us down. Course was still challenging but huge fun. You really have to think your way round & being accurate rather than long is a bonus. Course condition was great & facilities are spotless. The staff and members were really friendly. Unlike other courses I could mention, Howley hasnt bumped up its green fees to exploit the pandemic and is such good value for such a quality course. I can't recommend it enough.

Thank you Howley Hall...

The whole place oozes' class. The set up is dedicated to the pursuit of golf in way that encourages the golfer to respect the traditions of the game while having great fun. The lay out of the course with those tricky green and the warm welcome just make this one of the best clubs in West Yorkshire.

Hidden Gem

We played the course as a group of three on a glorious sunny day in early June.
I can only say that our experience matched the weather conditions.
The course was in excellent condition and proved to be testing but extremely enjoyable.
Both the staff and members were very welcoming which added to the overall experience.
Surprisingly nobody in our group was aware of Howley Hall but we will certainly be adding it to our list of future courses to play.
