Knebworth Golf Club

Brilliant. Superb value for money. Very nice course. Well kept. In good knick. Tee boxes great. Some huge valleys before greens

Knebworth golf club is worth a visit, a well looked after course with immaculate tees and greens. It plays par 71 off the yellow with 3 par 5s, 4 par 3s and rest being par 4s. Hole 13, a par 3 was superb looking and challenging. The course definitely plays longer as it is very hilly and the greens are tricky but have true speed. Service, amenities, local members and the sitting areas are also good. All in all a great club. Will be back soon.

As usual, the course was in pretty good condition and the greens were excellent.
Unfortunately, as more people have started to play again after the lockdown, the ugly aspect of slow play has started to creep in again.
I was playing on my own and was let through by a courteous 3 ball, but the 4 ball in front of them refused to. I was eventually caught up by another single golfer, who had started 45 minutes behind me, and had also stopped for half an hour to have something to eat. I really wish people would learn to keep a decent pace of play.
That said, it's always nice to play such a good course.

As usual always receive a warm welcome and good course knowledge stated by course starter.

Have marked down a little due to no electricity in pro shop and clubhouse due to a fire a week or so prior to our visit, so mobile generator was in place to provide some service to mobile kitchen.

Course was in perfect condition great greens a credit to green keeping staff.

Play this course you won’t be disappointed good value considering this is a premium Hertfordshire course.

Be warned appropriate footwear must be worn in clubhouse and attire.at all times.

Private club. All very friendly.

We range from 12 -24 handicap.

Good test for us all.

The course was in amazing condition. We were first to tee off, so didn't have any hold ups until a couple of lady members decided to cut from the 8th hole to the 11th hole in front of us. They held us up and didn't let us through, but it didn't spoil our day.
The greens were in superb condition and really quick which made putting a huge challenge.

I can't wait to play there again.

This is the first time I've played here since the lockdown. The course is very nice with some of the best greens in Hertfordshire.
Unfortunately the problem with slow play surfaced again. The three ball in front of me seemed to think taking five minutes each time they lost a ball was fine and they did it on virtually every hole. At no point did they ever consider letting anyone through even if they'd only hit it 30 yards off the tee.
I'll still play the course again and perhaps have a more reasonable pace of play.
