BilliardsReviews
What an absolute gem of a golf course definitely be coming back and playing it again.
Fast greens
Brilliant course good layout greens are brilliant all round top course
Really good course
We had heard all good reports of Leyland but could never get a tee time that suited us. However we seen this last week for a 10am tee time on a Sunday on golf now so booked it. Apart from a bit of a slow start due to the 4 ball in front of us, once we eventually got past them it was a great pace. The greens where in brilliant nick also. Would highly recommend Leyland Golf Course and will definitely be returning
Still Damp In Places
We played Leyland mid March, after a couple of weeks of dry, and warm weather. We were asked to play off mats if in the centre of the fairway, or move to ball to the first cut. We found that a bit strange considering most fairways were bone dry. I'm guessing the course really struggles during the winter, as some of the fairways were still very soft, and sometimes boggy in places. Speed of play was good and members friendly, as was the staff. We found most of the holes a bit "samey" but overall, it was ok.
Leyland golf club
Really enjoyed this course first time I’ve ever played it .The staff was very friendly and welcoming will play this course again
Snow
We couldn’t play because of the snow and we couldn’t cancel the £104 booking online.
Leyland golf were great.
I rang GolfNow with charges on the call !!
an a 40 min wait. Time to get through
I had to email an i have just received a confirmation to say that they are looking in to it.
I wouldn’t use golf now in the winter just try an call up course.
Nice greens
Very wet but has put alot of rain down. Greens were really good for the time of year. Some nice holes really enjoyed the 3rd par 3 down the hill then par 3 back up the hill nice little section of the course. Would like to play it in the summer. Staff were spot on guy in the pro shop let me go out on the 1st when everyone should have been starting on the 10th. Let me do this as I was on my own and it allowed me to get 18 in before it went dark which was great.
Easy going, suits older golfers
Enjoyed playing Leyland again, professional very helpful. The greens were not in the best condition but not bad.8th& 18th holes are two very challenging holes but love playing them, will definitely play this course again.
