Tough pin placement

Really interesting and very well presented course. We played a seniors match the day after the club championship, and the pins had been left in the same positions. There were some really REALLY tough pin locations (argghhhh 16th), and 17th was also a very clever placement. Everything about this golf course was first class, the greens all had a lovely roll, if a little slow. The layout really uses the local topography to the max.
Bravo Lilleshall..... we will return.

Great day out we played the front nine in the mist and couldn’t see 150 yards in front of us but it cleared up on the back nine for us. We will definitely be returning in better conditions but that been said the greens we in great condition for the time of year the only disappointment was that the club house wasn’t open when we had finished

Wonderful course

What a beautiful course, some interesting holes. Bunkers strategically placed, even though I took less club still ended up in a few of them. Due to the hot weather Ball seem to roll for ever. Small greens that run true. Really enjoyed my round, shame I didn't bring my A game to this wonderful course.

Excellent Golf Course

I am writing this review as i have seen the course only has one review so far and more people need to know about it. This is by far the best course i have played in a while.
There was a competition starting on the 1st when we arrived however the staff allowed us to tee off on the 10th and we had the back 9 to ourselves. The back 9 is a lot more challenging than the front 9 so if you struggle with hitting fairways i would recommending bringing a lot of golf balls or keeping the driver in the bag. Front 9 is a lot more open and forgiving.
Greens and fairways were in excellent condition and there are plenty of helpful yardage markers on each hole.
For £28.50 this is excellent value for money and i will definitely be coming again.
