Low Laithes Golf Club

Really enjoyed course. Staff and members very welcoming. Course drying out after lots of wet weather and will be even better in a few weeks. Greens very quick and challenging. Good variety of holes and distances.
Would play here again. Good value at £15.00

Paid £13 and this was an absolute bargain. The course was in great shape. Loved playing and will definitely be back.

We played Low Laithes yesterday and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The course was well maintained and the greens were fantastic, some of the best that I've played on all year. The catering staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good, honest clubhouse fayre. Would definitely return.

Ok so I know we got this at a good rate and I know you take pot luck on the courses played however to turn up and be told you are playing temporary greens due to maintenance seems a bit cheating like. The 'temporary greens were appalling, the tee's being in a better state than the 'Greens'. Some of if not all of the fairways were like playing in a ploughed field. On the plus side I would suspect when you are playing the proper greens the course could be quit nice but our experience was less than pleasurable. We just feel cheated we didn't get a decent round of golf. Some of the Tee's were difficult to find and were not clearly marked.

Course in good condition but quite a few holes similar up and down between mature trees but hitting it straight off the tee essential.Noise from the nearby M1 and a building site off putting ,otherwise nice course.

1st few holes are varied and interesting. The back nine holes are bit up and down. Same layout etc. If the wind blows it's tough going. Overall very happy with the condition of the course. I would play it again. Nice location easy access from the M1 and the staff were very friendly.

The problem with paying up front is that if the weather is bad you've paid upfront - so if it's pooring down - that's a loss of your money

Took my Dad round for a belated Fathers Day , really impressed , he loved it course in great condition .

This is a lovely mature course with a great variety of holes. Some are flat with sloping fairways, others long uphill, and others, in particular the nine, very downhill 400 yards which I was on the green for 2 are really good. The first nine are all par 4 or 3 with par 34. The last nine come in at 38 Park, the last six are long par 4 and par 5's.
Only have on suggestion, some of the tees need marking, I came off the 15th and wasn't sure if I was on the right tee, the 16 shares with another, can't remember now.
The one main improvement that could be made is the 17th tee which should be moved. It overlooks the practice fairway.
You drive across the practice fairway and then risk being hit by the practice balls being hit when you cross the bridge onto the 17 fairway.
Overall its a great course, definitely recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic course and in great condition. Some very narrow fairways with some only 20 yards wide which makes driving straight, essential. greens responsive with some nice undulating roles

Not the most difficult course around but plenty of challenges to keep it interesting. The way the course is set out aound the hill keeps the interest going. Could do with a couple more direction signs for the visitors but a course well worth the visit.
