Great course

Buggie hire a little on the steep side at 30£ And needed for some of the older members of the group as bit of a hike in places otherwise all round excellent challenging holes and greens without being too overwhelming

Lovely course but very steep in places

We enjoyed the challenge and there were some very interesting holes. Not sure why we were interrupted a few times by a groundsman blowing grass around with some huge machine! Completely unnecessary and distracting. Otherwise would have given it 5 stars

We attended the golf course to be told we were double booked with another party. It was commneted to me by Mark thst they hsad received no correspondance from you.
We were accommodated by Mark and was very helpful. However why this has happened is not very professional.

Slow play

Both times we have played this course slow play is a regular feature. Queuing sometimes with 3 groups on one hole and a lot of single players.

Great course, but inconsiderate golfers

We loved everything about the place. The staff were very helpful, the course was in great shape, some challenging holes "the 15th!" . But we were unfortunate in that a group of 8 golfers decided to hav a sit down after the ninth and started teeing off just as we approached, resulting in a 30 minute delay so that we abandoned after the 15th.

Great Layout

Played on Bank Holiday - greens slow and fairways ready for a cut. Despite this it was an enjoyable experience. Been before when the course was presented better so I know how good it can be.
Staff overall were very good and friendly.
It's worth a visit.

Typical Hotel course

Normally get driven up to 1st tee, which is a heart attack inducing climb, but not happening at present. Course lay out fine, greens quite bobbly, some heavily sanded, assume not much growth, due to lack of sunny weather. Viaduct signature hole is superb, a proper risk and reward hole.

Trending in the wrong direction

It’s a pretty local course to me, so I’ve played it a a few times over the last few years, and I think it’s getting worse. The greens were slow and bobbly, fairways were ok, Tee boxes were looking a bit tired in places too.

The rough was frustrating, left to grow wild resulting in long ball search parties, which I know from previous experience, is probably the reason for horribly slow pace of play.

The price is fair (£15 after work) but I do think the condition is getting worse, half the bunkers are GUR. Personally, I’d rather pay an extra £10 and play Bradford next door, but I appreciate everyone has their own budget.

Final point, the course is so long, it could be redesigned in the current footprint and easily be a 27 hole course. Would reduce the amount of nonsense rough as well... all in all, pretty average

Well worth a visit

Played this course for the second time and can’t wait to go back. The course is well maintained it’s very scenic and quite challenging. It’s quite hilly and the walk upto the 1st tee is a bit of a hike but in needed there is a the option of a courtesy drop off by buggy
