All you need and more for a nine hole par 3
Course in excellent condition and great for a quick knock if you just fancy nine holes. Staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. No complaints at all and will be back soon to try and improve my woeful performance!
Super Little Course
Attractive par 3 course with a par 4 270yard 9th hole to finish. The accent is very much on accuracy of direction and distance making it a very good course for short game practice. Very friendly staff and excellent new-build clubhouse. All well maintained. The course was busy with some tidy players as well as beginners and fun players, meant the pace was a little slow but we really enjoyed it.
Beautiful views
Great course. Well maintained. A couple of challenging holes with tricky bunker positions, whilst being very friendly to beginners. Rewarding for straight hitters. I'll be making regular after work visits. A quick nine (without slow play in front) won't take you more than an hour.
Nice Evening at Martin
Played this course for the first time and it was lovely playing conditions, nigh on perfect. It was busy but not enough to be an issue. the condition of the course was great, wasn’t prepared for artificial tees but not an issue. Super friendly staff were very welcoming. I’d like the holes a bit longer if i’m honest but still really enjoyed it and would recommend, only really need a 9 iron and PW apart from the last.
Great for beginners
The facilities were great and the staff were excellent. I'm very new to the game however I thought it was just the right length and difficulty for someone who's still trying to find there stroke. Will be returning soon.
Very good starter course
it was my sons 1st time on a golf course. It looked lovely . The greens were in good condition and in a few years will be better. Its also good for those of us who don't play those par 3's very well.
The lady in the shop was very helpful.
Overall we had a brilliant couple of hours.
We will play again.
Well maintained with nice features
Love this place perfect little par 3 course definitely recommend to improve your short game
Not a bad thing to say!
This course is spectacular! Perfect for beginners. Fantastically well looked after and an absolute pleasure to play! Will definately be returning very soon!
Great little course
Fairways and greens were spot on very enjoyable to play there
Occasional Golfer
First time played at venue and only play 3-4 times a year max. Mostly Par 3s with nice challenges such as water hazards, bunkers and occasional carries to make but not too forbidding. Still developing. Staff very friendly and Bacon/sausage barm cakes excellent. Only not excellent overall as Tee markers could be a bit clearer and course maintenance could be a little better but being picky. Will definitely go again.
Nice course
Like it a lot a Marton Meadows, short course but they do have big plans for redevelopment. However, pace of play is awful, stuck behind 3, 3balls and a 5ball! I get people play at different levels, but maybe ringing a bell at the 2nd tee when finished could give you the time needed to stop the backlog. I’m sure the owners didn’t know a five ball was being played, t this is where marshalling is important. If the pace of play improved, I’d probably have a membership.
