Mill Green Golf Club

Very busy on weekend but the starter and staff did well to keep pace of play as high as possible. Course was in great condition and a lot of holes requiring some thought of how to plot your way around.

The course was immaculate and the staff keep the fairways, surroundings and green in great condition. The only improvement would be to have some better signage to direct people to the next tee. Asking regularly is all well and good but holds up play and could be fixed with some extra signs. There are no details about the hole you are playing and we had to resort to an app to get details.

Booked a 6.54am tee, course in top notch condition, works still being done on back 9 bunkers but not an issue.

Greens fantastic and true, changes course layout which works better, staff exerlent and friendly

Windy day to start with, and have never played here before today . Lack of signage for all holes and even directions to where the next hole are!

Had to guess which was rather annoying but that is more of a me problem.

Greens are fast and true, many dog leg holes and again would be good if there was a marker so you knew which direction the flag was, was hitting blind many times.

overall I would do 4 birdies and then a handstand to celebrate getting over 130

A lovely course to play with some tricky holes and fast greens.

Lovely challenging course. Being remodelled with new bunkers but didn’t affect the round at all. Lots of strategically places hazards and doglegs which meant I only occasionally used my driver and even used a 7 iron to tee off on one par 4. Only disappointment was at the clubhouse afterwards where I ordered a beer, was told to take a seat but the beer never arrived. So after a 30min wait I ended up just leaving.
But overall a nice course that I would look to play again

I really enjoyed this course. The first front 9 was particularly fun with some interesting hazards in play.

The course was really well kept with some tricky greens to read. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating.

It was a bit disappointing that all the bunkers were under repair but I would definitely recommend!

Very nice course, short par 4’s but challenging and push you if you miss the fairways

Would of been nice to tee off before 12 midday
We only managed to get 13 holes in tee off was at 12-40.

Very slow on the day four societies and took 6 hours to finish

With every hole separated from the next it was a nice course to play on. Rather busy and could have benefitted from a nicer finishing (eg if first nine had been the back nine and finish with the 9th). Lovely weather though made it a good day's play.

Mill Green is an excellent layout and enjoyable to play. For that reason it is often busy and the pace of play suffers, along with the condition of the fairways. The greens were excellent though. Really friendly staff made the experience enjoyable and good value.
