Brilliant
I played 1-18 (Lakes and Blackmoor) on a very windy day (45 mph gusts) with sideways rain and I've never had so much fun. The courses is large, wide off the tee and long if you want it to be. Lots of rolling hills and shots over ravines. The greens were in great condition and although there's not really any "Wow!" holes it's made up for by the fact they're all really good with no disappointments to be found.
£35 was an absolute steal.
Excellant value
Had a great round in beautiful surroundings ,course layout is tough but fair.
Great condition for this time of year.

Had great day, second time we’ve played this course . Love the greens makes life way more interesting. Highly recommended this course
Course was good still looking for members etiquette
Been wanting to play this course for a while, heard good things. Yes I would agree with most of the comments, greens and fairways were well kept rough had been left a bit shabby but hey it’s winter what do you expect. Course layout was good with some nice holes. But members are rude with no etiquette!!! we had finished the front nine and made our way to the tenth tee where a member had jumped in front of us. Ok I’m not bothered about people jumping holes as long as it does not cause delays but this guy was horrific. Before teeing off he asked if there was a competition on knowing full well we were on our second nine and should have priority. He then played 3 balls off the tee and continued to play two causing delays and meaning the group behind us caught us up and were waiting on most tees behind us. Granted not the courses fault but I wouldn’t pay £5 to play here again with members like this it just spoils the whole round. I honestly have played nicer courses with nicer members for half the price really disappointing.
Cracking course!
Lovely course to play! Very up and down and quite a few blind holes but really enjoyed playing! The course was a little boggy in places but will be lovely in the summer! Will play it differently now I know the holes! Definitely worth playing here!
This is an excellent course and a real test of golf ability
There are 27 holes on this course. we played 10 to 27. Each nine is top quality and has similar challenges.
The course is kept in superb condition. The greens were fast and immaculately kept even after the heavy rain that had fallen before we played. The whole course is really well tended.
There are some challenging holes especially the 18th and 27th. Real risk/reward golf!
It is a good-looking course with great views.
