Great course and condition

The course was really in superb condition. It's not the first time playing but by far the best condition I've seen it. Staff were helpful and weather superb.

Superb course

A truly excellent course. Great variation, true greens, something for everyone. Just wish it hadn't been blowing a gale the day we played, made some of the harder holes a bit of a bind and really punished anything remotely loose off the tee. But that aside, a thoroughly enjoyable round. Looking forward to going back

Beautiful course as always

Absolutely love this course. Two distinctly different nines, first nine flat and back nine hilly. Needs to be managed carefully to score well. Course in beautiful condition even in April. Great deal with tee off times to play here early afternoon on bank holiday.

Perfect weather
Walked

Dry course when others were closed.

Very surprised to find Davenport Golf Course closed because of the weather. It was supposedly to wet to play, so taking to the internet it was a choice of Bramhall or Mottram.. We played Mottram, great course, manageable par 5 to start an interesting 3rd hole that appears shorter than it is (ball in the Pond).
No complaints about the course at all only problem was it was slow to get round due to the number of people playing.

Mottram Hall Golf Club (played 22/01/17)

An exceptional course, especcially for this time of year. The greens were seasonally slow, but perfectly maintained. A lunchtime tee off gave us the course all to ourselves too, and at just £15 per player (based on a 3-ball) it was an absolute bargain!
Will be heading back there soon.
