Evening Golf

Pleasington have lofty ambitions to be a top 100 course. It's not there yet- drainage in a few places seems to be an issue, and the greens were relatively bobbly when putting.

The pace of play wasn't too bad, for an evening tee Off - I did catch up the tail end of the competition on that day.

There are a couple of great holes, and a few rather ordinary ones, too. The nines are a little imbalanced, with three par fives as holes 5-7-9. The back nine is 33 shots.

Overall, recommended- at a reduced rate- I'd be a little disappointed at the published standard green fee (£45)

Top class course.

Really excellent course, could not fault anything about this course, the attention to detail was top notch little things like a map of every hole on each tee, very clear easy to see 150yd markers, every single bunker was spot on with the bunker edges cut nice and neat, ball washers/bins/water taps, only small things but makes a massive difference.
The fairways are very good and the greens although not lightening fast are in excellent condition.
Some really superb views.
We walked and although there are a few hills it did`nt seem to bad.
Very well stocked pro`s shop and really nice club house.
Everyone from people working in pro`s shop to the bar staff seemed friendly.
Would highly recommend playing this course.
