Temporary Greens
I do appreciate it’s the winter but I do not feel having to pay full price to play on temporary greens is fair. At the end of the round the chap in the shop offered 1 complementary 9 hole round. When I said I was just over visiting my son and would unlikely be back he never offered an alternative
Brilliant course
Brilliant course to play, well maintained and excellent facilities, greens in lovely condition.
Tight
Greens superb fairways good but very tight due to lacation
Disappointed
Is a 9 hole course not 18. When we booked was not informed we would be paired up with another 2 ball. Course it self is fairly average with except for the greens which were excellent. So sadly won’t be going back
Damp and too busy.
I booked it thinking it was an 18 hole course, so that's my fault on that front. We had a tee off time behind a society so play was really slow, nearly 5 hours for a short, low par course, but that's just the luck of the draw. The course was cute, and requires a lot of accuracy, or you get penalised heavy. Winter mats from everywhere as I got told off by a member. All in all if I lived 10 minutes away I'd return 100%, but coming from Preston it's probably not worth it. Really nice food, and people, and a lovely cuppa at the halfway house.
Polytonal park
9 hole course trying to be an 18 hole .
Poor. Although greens were in tip top condition .
Short but testing
Great little tricky course.
considering all the rain we had recently was in pretty good condition
Gentle stroll.
A nice gentle stroll around North Cheshire. Was a fairly quiet day, so not rushed. Not sure how it works on a busy day cos there are 9 holes with 2 tee positions to make up the 18. So on a busy day I could imagine a bit of a car crash at times.
Would certainly play again though.
Great little club
Pro very welcoming on arrival. The course is 9 holes with separate tees for each 9. It is in good condition. Perhaps a little short if you're looking for a championship course but still some testing shots.
Good practice facilities available too.
Perfect best suited for mid to high handicap golfers.
good value
Played this course regularly a few years ago and drainage and condition was not too good. Played it over the last two weekends and the general condition has improved greatly. Now nice course to play.
