Pleasant round

Effectively this is an 11 hole course, 8 of which you play twice albeit from slightly different tee boxes. Deapite this, it was in good condition and it's certainly not your typical "9 holes". Pretty forgiving from the tee with wide fairways and little trouble, but nice turf, lovely views and some good holes. Greens good although they looked as though they'd been dyed for a greener look which was slightly odd. If it was busy it'd be tough given only 11 holes to spread the players over. Overall, I'd play again for a leisurely round, especially given the green fee of less than a fiver!

A good but challenging course

The terrain makes this course challenging being set on the hills of Blackburn. Some of the shorter holes are very tricky as they are protected by bunkers. A very pleasant round.

Pleasantly Surprised

Never been to this course, thought a 9 hole course, would be small and less challenging, with little options for the driver. This was a practise round for me. Well was very impressed and surprised, great views, challenging holes, very difficult in wet windy conditions. Have to say did not hit many greens, but enjoyed, very well looked after course, greens looked in excellent condition. I enjoyed my 18 holes.
