Ruined by pace of play
No fun for a two ball
Spent most of round having chipping competitions on tee whilst four balls spent ages looking for balls in knee high rough
South Cliff
What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon great course great location really good all round course.
Delightful round
The course has a great layout on the cliffs below Scarborough. It was interesting & challenging, a traditional, well maintained property.. one suggestion - call ahead to reserve a buggy. It is a long walk & the day we played all buggies were booked. We’re pretty fit but felt it by the end of the round.
Helpful staff & a nice terrace for a pint afterwards.
Great little course
Really fun course, some tricky little holes that require plotting your way round. Most the fairway bunkers aren’t really in play off yellows, but not the end of the world.
Course was really firm and quite tough on a breezy day. Greens were slow but in great condition and rolling true.
Will certainly be returning.
Testing day
Picked a day with 30 mph winds. So very testing. Hardly anyone on so got round easily. Last 3 holes closed due to being wet. Better than North cliff in my opinion.
A windy blast
This was a challenging round due to the windy conditions. Some cracking holes, the cliff side was excellent but it must be said the rest of the course was not too shabby. 2 hoes currently closed 16 and 17. Which did take away a little of the experience.
Golf at South vliffe
The last 3 holes were not available due to waterlogged conditions .
Very scenic course with views out to sea across Scarborough South Bay and down to Flamborough Head. Course in good condition and staff and members very welcoming to first time visitors.
Beautiful views
Really enjoyed the round. First 9 are mainly on the cliff tops with views across Scarborough bay and the dramatic cliffs of the east coast. These are more like playing links but wide enough to be foregiving. The wind made it really challenging.
Second 9 are tighter and more parkland.
All holes are well kept, greens fast and with tricky slopes there is always the possibility of 3 and 4 putts!!
Only negative i can say is the tees were a bit worn but this a nit picking and it was sjnday afternoon.
Didn'to into the clubhouse but people were enjoying the balcony whch looks over the 18th green.
Will go back asap.

Luckily the weather was on our side. But the course is beautiful. Stunning views. The greens are in great condition. Just overall great. Definitely recommend playing to anyone.
Great course
Very good couse. Great views and very inviting driving holes. Greens are tough but are very consistent and role well
