Greens had been cored and sanded which they seem to do quite often but the round was cheaper as a result.

Another round ruined by slowplay

Nearly a five hour round, midweek in January... Caught up to a three ball on the 7th who all took a minimum of two tee shots every hole, and a mixed four ball in front of them. I even walked back to the clubhouse to ask if they could get someone to hurry people up or speak to them about slow play but all I got was a shrug. When I spoke to them, they said they couldn't let us through as there was people in front of them, strange excuse.

If the management will not do anything about slow play then it ruins it completely. Played before and got clocked at the half way hut, but no one to be seen this time and no course marshall. Absolute waste of money, and I won't be back

Good but Course expect 5 hours to go round

Worth noting that the course expects 5 hours to go round. For me that's prohibitively long but worth bearing in mind when you book a time. Course was in good nick especially considering a lot of rain the day before and being November. First 6 holes have tight fairways. Gave up after 10 as it was slow but was told by the manager they expect a round to take 5 hours.
