Course was way to busy. Water logged and should of cancelled both courses instead of merging 2 together
Excellent
First time I’ve played the course since the changes, very impressed indeed
Great days golf
Played a lovely round with good company on a fantastically maintained course. Looking forward to our next challenging visit. A course that offers everything.
Great day of golf
Brilliant days golf. If there was one request it would be more signage to the next tee. A number of golfers wandering around looking for tee 2 and 10 .
Nice course, well maintained.
Some courses have managed to maintain things well during lockdown, and this is definitely one of them. Two course, equally as good as each other but quite different. Decent clubhouse and friendly staff.
But.... please open up tee times for single players - and not charge the same as two balls. Even if its later in the day when it's quiet.
Nice course
Nice course it was a shame to meet a snotty member who clearly doesn’t appreciate good golfers playing his course.
Great course very hilly
Super course really enjoyed it but bit off a distance between holes and not sign posted very well
SLOW PLAY
great course but when we got on the back nine of the course. We was waiting 10-15 minutes for every shot We spoke to the marshalls what did nothing.
Outstanding
Course was in great condition considering a week of heavy rain ,greens in excellent condition great pace to them and quite a few three tiers greens ,only moan was the bunkers could of been racked over by the green keepers with all the rain the sand had compacted solid
4 ball on The King's Course.
Booking on tee off times was easy and good value.
Golf reception and she well stocked.
Very disappointed to not get e-carts as the course is long and hilly on a sunny warm day.
A little too busy and we were held up behind 4 ball with 2 carts in front of us.
Course in good condition and challenging.
Bar facilities good after the round.
Recommended.
The Longest Round
What have they done? This Club has the opportunity to be one of the premier clubs in the Midlands, if not the Country but it fails on so many levels. Five and a half hours to get round - we were walking, the two fourballs in front were in buggies! We had to wait on every tee! The cheap price means the people playing don't care; about the course; keeping up with play, ability to play. I think the green keepers have given up. Pitch marks everywhere, the 3rd green on the Kings was more like the moon, almost unplayable! We stayed for a drink as it was a nice evening. Out on the patio the tables were cluttered with empty glasses, it looked like the morning after the night before!! Take some pride it could be fantastic - the course, the service, the staff, all tired and they appear not to care!!. But for £19.00 what do you expect!
Great cource
Very good cource long way from green to tee very confusing not sign posted easy to get lost but would recommend te cource
Good value for money but painfully slow
This is a very good golf club with a choice of two very good 18 hole golf courses. My friends and I played the Kings course and the course was in immaculate condition, greens fast and very well kept. Had a brilliant day however we walked in after 12 holes due to the ridiculously slow pace. It took us 3.5 hours for 12 holes. No one let us through unfortunately which meant there was no hope. If your going to play this course I'd recommend an early tee tume because you will be there all day otherwise.
Very good but could be better
Very good overall.
Some bunkers badly kept, greens had just been spiked but it is late October so to be expected. Huge amount of sand on the greens and bumpy
Some really lovely holes, nice big greens and tee boxes. Fairways excellent
Would like to play again next year when greens better but overall for £26 on a Sunday morning pretty good
Stale bread and no butter on bacon sandwiches, nice clubhouse reasonable prices
