Nice challenging course to play
The only problem I would say was some of the greens weren't up to their normal standard but as it's early it's to be expected and hopefully they will be up to their usual standards soon
Nice Course, Worth a Visit
Good Reception on arrival, very friendly pro shop.
Tee boxes and fairways in good condition, length plays to yardage/distance markers.
Greens a little hard for my liking, not a course to attach the greens, more suited to players who can pitch and run in.
Only downside was the extremely slow play we experienced playing on a public day, which resulted in us cutting the round short by 2 holes to keep it under 4.5 hours.
More attention to this issue should be made by management.
Finally, tried the club house after the round and this was also very friendly.
A challenging course
My second time playing there and on this occasion it was drier!
The course is well maintained and provides a challenge of water.
The only minor downside is crossing a busy road to take on holes 3-14, then back over for 15-18.
At the height of summer, you will find that some holes are not as forgiving given the amount of trees and their bunching, so straight shots will be required.
West Middlesex gold club
Great course, challenging and rewarding.. in great nic for this time of year .. real quality.
Nice people.
5stars

Winter golf Middlesex
Look forward to play course in the summer, great value for money friendly staff member in pro shop allowed us to go out earlier as course was quite
Challenging Layout
First time around West Midd. course, very interesting and challenging layout that keeps you thinking. Every hole is a different requirement, and would deffinitely suit players that can shape ball flight.
Main positives are the variety on each hole, either bunkers, trees or water on play. Par 3's are the main challenge, but also some clever doglegs where distance control is key.
Grees and Fairways in very good condition for this time of the year, just noticed some disease in few greens but not affecting ball direction.
As a whole, good challenge that any golfer would enjoy. Have to come back
Location with a Challenge
Within easy access to the A40 this course has great variety for an inner London course. A challenging mix of holes which will keep you interested. Course management is more important than a long hit on a number of holes. The staff are friendly and helpful and the pro shop is well stocked. Members do not make tee times so you can have a bit of a "scrum" on the tee box on popular days. Call ahead to avoid competitions and the like.
An underrated gem
West Mid is a delightful test of golf.Although not long,it demands careful placement off the tee, and accurate shots into the greens. The tone of the course is set when you get to the 2nd tee,a tough par-3 that is visually intimidating, requiring the player to hit a high long iron to a wickedly sloping green. In fact all the par-3s on this course are tough. The stand-out hole is no-9,a dog-leg left that has a blind fairway, that is wildly undulating, then a tough approach to a green guarded by trees and a deep bunker. All in all,its a cracking course, that is exceptional value when booked through GolfNow.
