Short course but very interesting some very scenic views too. Quite hilly if older advise you have an electric trolley
Great Day's Golf!
course was in immaculate condition. some wonderful holes with elevated tee's and some holes test your course management, particularly the 16th. hit a drive nearly 297yds on the 15th which was a personal highlight. staff very friendly. was well worth paying the price as it is very well looked after. HCP 19, Scored 94.
will be playing here again soon!
Course in excellent condition
Very friendly staff on arrival. Course in excellent condition; only a shame that there were so many temporary tees and that they were in such poor condition.
Wharton Park
Has so much potential
Coarse weather beaten needs some TLC
Probably not at its best but still enjoyable and well worth a round
Look to return late May early June next year
Goat day out@
Although we played on a Friday morning in the hight of summer we didn't see hardly any one else on the course! It was like millionaires golf. The course was in great shape considering the hot weather with loads of run on the fairways and excellent greens albeit a bit quick for some of our group. Good driving range and practice greens excellent club house and very helpful staff. Booked thro tee off times for fantastic VFM. I wish I lived closer (50 miles away) so I could play here more often!
Great setting and course condition
We were impressed with the plush facilities at Wharton Park. The course was in excellent condition and there were some nice views to enjoy. For anyone playing for the first time I would recommend a buggy as it is a good walk! Some of the nicest looking holes of golf I have played.
Wharton Park
Coursecwas in great nick, few greens were slightly bad in a few places but with recent weather understandable. Played at 11.20 on a Sunday and pace of play was great. Had a great day here. Really interesting par 3’s and some tricky holes on back 9. Paid 20 pounds on tee times and I think that was a bargain on a course like this. Hats off to the grounds men. Next time I will be using a buggy though .
Weekend golf at one of Worcestershire's best courses
We secured an early afternoon tee (for 2) on a Saturday afternoon. All was fantastic ( including the weather and scenery) except the pace of play. We were apparently held up best a Society and earlier Competition.
No complaints though - a brilliant experience overall.
