Pine Valley - Great value

Played the Pine Valley course on Sunday afternoon, must say that £15 on a weekend for 18 holes was great value. Greens had a few patchy areas but the pins weren't located near these spots. Nice layout & not to challenging for the 3 of us who are all around 18 handicappers & we made it round in just over 3hours.
A very enjoyable day, staff were very helpful & polite which we haven't always found to be the case when playing elsewhere..
We all enjoyed a superb cajun chicken burger and a pint sat out in the sun afterwards which topped the day off perfectly. Definitely worth a visit.

Super Value

Having played the "Championship" course with my society last year we thought we would try its "little brother" Pine Valley. We played Saturday afternoon at 16:15 and were amazed at a greenfee charge of just £12 each!!
We were a little sceptical having read an earlier review but we need not have worried, the course was more than playable & again for £12 amazing value..! Lovely layout, some very well thought out holes with plenty of opportunity to hit driver and as i said, overall the course was in decent condition. Wouldn't hesitate to go back or recommend Pine Valley if your looking for 18 holes which isn't to demanding
Unfortunately we didn't have time to eat but the Menu looked great & there was a choice of real ale in the bar.

Surprised at the last review

Played on Saturday 25th May and the course was fantastic, there are patches on some of the greens but they weren't near the hole locations. Took us just under 4 hours in a 4 ball to play. For £15 on a weekend to play an 18 hole course I don't think you can ask for more. Had a chat with the guy in the shop before we played, that was busy, quite a queue but he was cheerful enough considering how busy he was. Had some Timothy Taylors real ale in the bar afterwards, the barmaid was a bit of a character. All in all a good fun day out.

Course condition very poor

Greens In terrible state, fairways not cut. Nearly 5 hours for a 3ball as group in front not allowing us to play through.
I won’t be rushing to book another tee off time on The Pines course, seems to have been overlooked on the upkeep, especially when you can see how pristine the fairways and greens are on the Willow course.
Save your money plenty of better courses for the same price in Yorkshire
