Gogarburn Golf Club
About
Gogarburn Golf Club is located just a short drive from the Edinburgh Airport, near the headquarters of the Royal Bank of Scotland. Despite the seemingly bustling location, the course itself is tucked away amidst mature woodlands. The unique 12-hole layout has an interesting mix of short par 4s and very long par 3s. It's not an overly difficult golf course but you should be prepared to have your accuracy and shot-making skills put to the test. The layout is made tougher with pin placements that sit right behind high-lipped bunkers. Short hitters will enjoy the course and it's also gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence. Gogarburn Golf Club has an historic element as well with several holes that play through an area where Cromwell conducted one of his skirmishes.

Ideal short course
First time played this course and was pleasantly surprised. This 12 hole course is perfect for those looking for a less challenging round, with plenty Par 3 holes. Course was in great condition,, excellent value for money.
Little Gem
May only be 12 holes but it's a little gem. In great condition, some cracking holes and suits many levels of golfer. A friendly welcome from reception to club house afterwards. Really enjoy playing here
Great wee course
Great wee course, not the longest but a very enjoyable. The greens were good and I’d happily play here again.
Pleasant course
Beautiful inland setting. Easily accessible from A8. Flat course so good for varying levels of fitness.
Short coarse
A flat coarse and short most holes drive and pitch
Good for the short days you finish coarce with 1400 tee off
Great wee course.
Always love gogarburn for quick round if I’ve got limited time. Everyone is friendly, course is well maintained.
Unfortunately due to the way either golf now or the club works, I wasn’t allowed a quiet round to myself and had the same tee off time as two ladies. Not the end of the world as both women were more than pleasant. It’s just not ideal when you’re forced into a situation when you were expecting a quiet couple of hours to yourself.
Wee Gem
This course might put people off by only being 12 holes, but it's an absolute gem. It's in great condition, value for money and real fun to play. Clubhouse is friendly with great food. Staff are all welcoming. It's a real cracker of a place
9 holes Gogarburn GC
Never played here before. Staff and fellow golfers were really friendly. Course was in decent condition for the time of year.
Unfortunately I played poorly which didn't help the experience.
I found the course to be very short and very tight with very small greens. You need to be a golfer on form to score well round here.
Less than £10 to play which was very good.
12 holes
Very tidy course. No problem getting round and quite a good mix of holes. Worth a go.
Great little course
Always enjoy coming here course is always in great condition and the people are always friendly
More difficult than it looks.
A lovely 12hole course in excellent condition. Some narrow fairways and can become a bit dangerous if you slice the blall.
Short treat
Played here many times over the years as I live local. Course was in good nick. It’s a fun wee course if you want something different. If you like playing irons only then give it a try.
