Mearns Castle

The course was in ok condittion and value for money on Golf Now. It was soft in places and on winter tees which is to be expected. Animals had emtied all the bins and the rubbish was laying everywhere at each tee and there was no water in the ball washers. The greens where dry and ok for March.
Its a good course for a quick practice round.

Great Course

Played this course recently with my son and despite the weather conditions the fairways and green were in excellent condition. The staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful and take this oppotunity to thank them for all their assistance. Would definitely return and play this course again. Use to play fairly regularly many years ago and this has given me the desire to play more often again.

Great facilities

Winter greens so it is what it is this time of year. Overall though, tee boxes and fairways in a good condition. Great facilities with the driving range, shop and restaurant.

Great facilities and course conditions

Course was in a great condition. Greens in particular. Open fairways so a great chance to get a low score. Also, great facilities with the driving range, pro shop and cafe restaurant. We'll worth a visit.

Great conditions

Course was in a great condition, greens very good. Layout is good, not the most testing course but one to build confidence on as has wide fairways. Would play again. Great setup of all facilities.

Enjoyable track with great facilities

I have used Mearns castle driving range a good few times over the years and rate it as one of the best driving ranges in Glasgow but this was my first time to play the 9 hole course.

Staff were great on arrival, very friendly and helpful. All other persons I met on the golf course and in the clubhouse were lovely also and I was kindly let through by a 4 ball on the 1st tee so I didn't get help up.

The course is a very enjoyable layout, decent length for a 9 hole course but not too punishing off the tee. You can get round here without losing a ball which is nice. Fairways, bunkers etc were all in very good condition. The greens were decent, good speed and not a bad surface. Tees were the poor part of the course, not atrocious but need some work.

All in all, well worth playing and thoroughly enjoyable but I feel £15 would be a more fitting price for the 9 holes.

Mearns castle

Inviting first tee sets you up for an interesting 9 hole course. Few hazards along the way and teasing greens with traps set right throughout. Nice overall and pleasant round ,greens were well trimmed and sound to play(too fast for me) . Would recommend and definitely play again.
